    So..

    A pre-nerf eternal Q8 - 2 hex is 5-25e..

And a Q7 non inherent White Fellblade is 1500e how..?

    Point proven.

Oh, Notority don't lecture me on pvp shields

Every Q7/15 shield is what 20-40e and that sea purse skin is why 30000% the value over others?

So please enlighten me why a common shield that STILL drops is worth two times the value of a pre-nerf Q8 perfect Crysta how..?

Its Greed, not market value bye.

I remember a similar thread that kind of got out of hand because of these PC's.

What was it again 1500e for a blue q7 clean FDS... Right.

This is not different, this Fellblade is 400-500e Tops no questions about it.

I have no idea how people are getting some price estimates, but currently there is a blue Q7/15 inscrip sea purse garbage being sold for 14000 ectos..

Greed over common sense, its so toxic and destructive.

Wand offhand 40/40 basicly if you want them to spam as much as possible the bare unconditional stuff, like healing or damaging spells alike.

Not to expensive to craft, costs around 100-140k gold for seven heroes.

Staff 20/20/20 with 20% ench, if you want certain spellcaster heroes have important enchantments lasting longer for obvious reasons.

Usually a modded Staff put toghether, around 20-40k.

+5 energy +30hp spear +30hp shield purely for defensive reasons or reducing the impact of Superior runes, aswell for certain area's in the game to prevent being targeted by certain spells.

Prayer of the Forgotten + Collector / Crafter shield easiest to get, Will cost around 180-240k gold for seven heroes

20/20 +60HP Staff, right in the middle of wand offhand and the spear shield combination.

Commonly found on various Green Staffs for plenty of professions.

Average costs are 180-260k for seven heroes due their good stat distribution.

Great too see that a legendary GW YouTuber like WoodenPotatoes has put time into making this video and putting GuildWarsLegacy in the spotlight!

And ofcourse all of Kevins dedicated work for GWL, the community, and amazing gesture for ArenaNet for their thoughts and labor of love for this game!

Watched WP's entire GW solo playthrough, really humbled to see that GW1 still remains a big topic for him throughout and in between his GW2 video's for all of his viewers too enjoy!

    /salute

Im on board with kairi, id love a new expansion and im sure the creative staff of Anet would love to be of any help.

However i think that the marketing perspective of Anet wont go onboard with this because it simply wont pay off for them to invest so much time money and staff for the little return they get from it.

GW only had around 5-15% of its playerbase ''actively'' playing.

So if it happens it will only be a gesture of good will and not for monetairy reasons.

Hence for that reasons i doubt it will ever happen.

I think we should be grateful enough of them to let GW1 be ran on GW2 servers.

I doubt that GW1 will even generate enough revenue on its own to even pay for the server costs by itself.

Back in my day, i wasen't good enough to run droknars forge but ran Camp Rankor > Deldrimor War Camp instead, charging 300-500g per player and was able to purchase Elite Gladiator Armor after a month or two of running.

Well the builds on their own compiled toghether make the team as there is not alot of variation possible in the sense of hero availability and excluding mercs for its purpose.

The Builds posted before are assembled in any combination you like to the extend of whats available and to what works for you or not.

You could choose for 3 SF eles with TAOF paragon, but also none of the before suggested.

I dont think that people who only have NF will buy mercenaries before any of the other expansions so I will exclude that option in the making of a decent team.

Likewise the purchase of Mercs will quickly result in a team based on gimmicks. (mesmer / necro staking).

Id like to refrain from making this a ''who is first to make a meta'' sort of challenge because there are plenty of metas around undefyable (which requires All campaigns), and defeats the purpose of making a well balanced team for the regular NF players to do end game content and title hunting rather than doing it for yourself losing its integrity.

The sole point of this thread is to make something work with the limited resources NF has available for the normal NF only player that requires (due hero limitation) them to have a balanced team for VQ / Guardian / Cartho / LB / SS / UW / FoW / DoA.

They'll never become metas, aslong they will work excellent for the said niche part of the player base for its purpose and the players goals mentioned above.

The monk attribute line being the only sole healing tree without secondairy conditions required knocks ritualist healing off the table in NF.

However that also comes with heavy Energy use and they dont excel in its management.

Suggestion would be 2x N/Mo, 2x Ele, 1x Mes, 1x BiP para, a Barrage Ranger, VoS/Dwayna Dervish or hybrid Smite monk.

Here are some of the builds i tested out, everything in diffrent order of using.

Even tried to mimic a sort of ''Esurge Stack'', and even that is subpar of what most are used too.

However, here are the template codes with optionals noted below them.

Would like to hear what you think of these.

Honestly found it a tad difficult to come up with these builds, not only for their need of simplicity but also to what was available and still had the ''preform'' somewhat.

    Cheers,

    Zeph.

I gave myself the question : ''Is it possible to VQ elona, with just a Nightfall account, NF skills and heroes?''

And came to the harsh conclusion, that its probably not (easily) achieveable.

Protection and healing is something i came up short with and i'm not able to make it happen, i had minor succes pulling it off whilst randomly getting pummeled by a small group of hekkets or kournan groups.

So here is my question, how did Anet thought about this very select group of players ever to achieve completion (Elona VQ / Guardian / Lightbringer) or remotely even DoA with the select skills and heroes at their disposal.

Iv tried multiple setups and combinations of skills and classes and they all struggle at best?

I'm afraid Nightfall is the powercreep and victem of its own succes that is manageable by previous expansions, but on its own players will really fall victem to that.

So, if there are any suggestions for those players that only have NF and play it alone, post them below.

    Cheers, Zeph.

I've looked at this skill for quite a while and came to the conclusion..

    .. Purifying DAB?!

Seems we had some OG skill design going on here lol.

Found any other skills which made you relate to something?

    Post it down below!

What gahata says is true, this also applies more noteworthy to wands and Shields aswell.

The Energy/health boost from being quite noticeable and easily to test yourself by equipping, getting hexed or enchanted before ID'ing.

Likewise the HCT and HSR, however exact % numbers are hard to come by.

Acts as a little Energy boost in boss fights or heavy pressure.

You can always changed it for Enfeebling Blood (6 cursus) or Edge of Extinction (8bm), flesh of my flesh, or as you said even Union.

The Builds posted are from 2014 if i recall correctly and havent been optimized eversince, and skills are subject to be swapped for your own convenience.

Thanks everyone for making this possible, i always knew it had the potential to became this and gladly alot of you agreed on that aswell!

    Cheers

    Zeph

But not because its worth stupid money.

Simply because people have stupid amounts to spend on stuff they dont know their real values of.

Because people CAN pay 100x its value now, doesnt mean its worth it.

Because the market has changed due population and overloaded with gold sellers, doesnt justify any thing.

These Pc's would't be done 4 years ago, and shouldnt be changed now because "it is how it is today"

Well sorry to pop everyones bubble.

Lets be realistic, these Q7 and q8 cleans especially blue arent really worth a damn thing.

I collected these for years and eventually gave half of them away.

Id be honest and utmost realistic in this delusional economy.

Yes its Q7, Yes they dont drop any more, its blue, it has no use, its a novelty.

    150-200e max.

Any thing over this doesnt justify its worth other than dumping more ectos on it than anyone else simply because they want it.

Its just not worth THAT much.

    Like diablo 2,

Make a checkbox for hardcore mode which includes a seperate version of the game with simply a death-is-death mechanic (i.e reaching 0 health)

This also yields another economy and really discourages botting to some degree due to difficulty of setting up bots in some places, let alone giving them a 100% survive rate doping so.

However it also encourages botting due to its economy of items and material being way harder to come by, and thus making it more feasible to do so.

    Both with pros and cons.

However, any MMORPG will never be free of botting simply because money is there to be made due demand, unlike singleplayer games.

I personally guess because there was nothing like it back in 05/06 before factions.

15k armor made you quite a big deal, and obsidian was as prestigious as you can get and made you a person to look upto.

Accompliment that feature with True exotic weaponry of that time, giving the flair of being an real threat pvp wise (obtainable only from hoh), or a leader of the countless 8 wammo FoW chest runs, they all sure knew which one to follow!

Freaking amazing stuff going on folks.

Great too actually see Kabong and kromp active on the forums, i definetly would love to meet both someday in their manly mansuite armchaired brandy sippin lounge, aka the hall.

I have been thinking of a New project for collecting which ill definetly start working on once ill get a new Pc.

    (AMD Ryzen 5, 8g ram, gtx 1050 ti 4g) =)

I have to disagree with this, max : '' Any staff which misses HSR Mod completely, also applies to whites and blues or purples ''

There are still alot of req 0 upto req 3-5 staffs in white/blue quallity available that do not come with an inherent HRS.

Most notably in and around the (old) Ascalon regions from quests and collectors.

Unconditional is indeed pre-nerf but its still available, most notably a Ascalon collectors wand with Unconditional +5 Energy.

Although i noticed one section missing here from this list, and its the green weapons.

Most notably Wroths Holy Rod (20/20 smite)

    and Ziinjuu's Sanctuary which had

    Energy +5

    Holy damage: 7-10

    (Requires 5 Smiting Prayers)

Halves casting time of Smiting Prayers spells (Chance: 10%)

Halves skill recharge of Smiting Prayers spells (Chance: 10%)

Smiting Prayers +1 (20% chance while using skills)

    Health +10

I suspect its a TexMod done on a Gloom Shield or a Serrated Shield (bonus prophecies pack / million players edition)

Neither i can find the Shield looking at any of the other bonus material from events, limited editions or giveaways

Id suggest giving the healers both Energy Drain as Elite, and removing both Pdrain and Hex Eater for Phantom Pain or Energy Tap.

    10 fc, 11 resto, 10 inspri +1+3.

Should give them plenty of Energy management.

Id also remove Ward for maybe Aegis.

    11 illu, 9 prot, 9 insp, 8-9 FC.

For the rest looks quite nice should definetly be fun in NM!

Guys, can we please all agree that Kabongs clean q8 swampclub is the most incredible item of all items ever to have seen the face of guild wars?

Kabong that thing is the stuff of legends dude.

There could be dozens of swampclubs but none ever to be as clean as that q8.

    Praise teh lawd.

    Hey folks,

Are you tired of HM being easy as **** because all you bring for your team is their standard meta builds?

Are you tired of every team composition looking exactly the ****** same?

Do you sometimes really feel nostalgic, missing how the simple times actually gave more of a challenge?

Do you really feel bad for every Henchmen NPC in outposts, because they get benched?

Are you freaking tired of Z-Way because... just kidding lol.

Anyway!, i'v been thinking lately how Henchmen really have been neglected once Nightfall came out (Probably for good reason to lol), and i'm trying to bring back the spice in henchmen by transforming you're heroes, into, you guess it, Henchmen.

These builds are ''handmade'', with excellent balance and efficiency... Lmao that's not the case sadly, let me save you from that kind of elitism.

No, these builds were made with the idea of how Prophecies was great and all that stuff, and brings back the challenge of making it harder for yourself by bringing.. Hench-Heroes!

    These builds were also bound to certain rules before I made them, the following conditions were ;

    1) Must be Prophecies professions only.

    2) No hybridization of builds (i/e, no necromancer healers or Secondairy Profession Skills.)

    3) Must have Prophecies/Core skills only.

    4) Must have atleast 12 in their Primairy Attribute, and 12 in another of their Attribute tree. (So no attri splitting as in 11-10-10 for example)

    5) Must fulfill a role that their Profession was designed to be doing.

    6) Not allowed to stack the same build. (i/e 5 Esurge mesmers etc)

    7) Bringing some variety in builds you could swap out for another, if the situation or objective demands doing so.

** SPOILER - I didn't make Warrior builds because Prophecies skills will really cripple the damage output of those Classes and Total Damage Output of you're Team. **

All heroes must be equipped with their respective +2/3 Rune on their helm(and/or body part), Runes and Insignia's on other armor pieces, to improve skill effectiveness, also equip them with the best weapon or spellcasting weaponry of their skill/spellcasting attribute.

These builds are all made by me, and put toghether with skills of which I think and know that will be used too maximum potentional as far Hero AI is capable of doing.

These builds are also subjective to you're own taste and will not be suited for those who want to Tab/Spacebar their way through the game.

However this is purely made for fun, and will definately bring some new life into Hero builds and the way you can play the game.

Wish you all the best and all the fun with it :)

    Cheers,

    Zephyr.
