No problem. For the Dwarven Stability, rank doesn't really matter, you will just have to use it more often but the recharge always ends before the stance ends. The 3pnt vs 1pnt alcohol will just allow KD prevention longer for each time you use DS.
I am unstoppable is slightly impacted by rank for the duration of the shout, but not much as max duration is at level 5 for 20 seconds vs 16 seconds for level 0 Norn., recharge is 30 so regardless this will always run out before recharged, that's where the timing of use comes in.
In short, rank shouldn't prevent success here.

Hey! Glad to see another experimenter with this run, one of my personal favorites.
To avoid being Knocked down, there is some timing involved, be sure to keep your "I am Unstoppable" for when you are near the Summit Giant Herders. Perfect timing will allow you to use it in 3 spots where there is at least one Herder. The additional safety measure is if you have alcohol, 3 point alcohol will last longer, taking that just before Dwarven Stability will get you pretty far in this run, you can even save using it until you get past the southeast corner of the run before you approach the 2 Herders in the open area, this will last you for the rest of the run.
For gear, the Rangers with piercing can be a pain.
My general running shield is 10vs Piercing for this reason, but a 10vsDwarves here is better.
If you have a 10vs Piercing/Dwarves 2^ench shield you should be set!
My general armor that I use almost everywhere is:
Blessed x5
Head: Superior Shadow +3+1
Body: Attunement
Gloves: Purity (this is helpful in other runs but use it on my general armor set)
Legs: Attunement
Feet: Superior Vigor
There are many other variations but this is what I use personally.

What do you mean they don't drop anymore? (Sarcastically)
I have to chuckle when someone tells me they or someone they know recently dropped a max q8 bow or axe (true story, been told this on multiple occasions just over the last 2 years alone, even was told that they dropped a q7 max purple sword). My typical response is "send me the un-doctored screenshot for proof", miraculously everyone forgets to take a screenshot.
People will stand outside in the middle of a tornado to take a picture but when they drop a so-called unicorn, nope, not screenshot worthy.

Both have a reputation of not being the most common...

Slayer spotted in wastes
Doesn't that only spawn during the "Demon Assassin" Quest? I assume you had that active... if not... you better kill it quick and hope that the brand new "Ghostly Shield" drops

Was doing cartographer in Tangle Root and got this from a Magumma chest in NM. Made me sad...
On a side note.. is it possible for these chests to even drop max damage Q8 golds there? The foes were level 18 Jungle trolls I believe.. I thought I read somewhere that to get Q8 the foes need to be like level 17-21 or something like that. Can anyone confirm?

You are correct as it relates to levels 17-21 foes dropping q8 max swords, focus and shields. The same applies to the chests, each chest also has a level range and the Maguuma Chest is right on the line where you can drop a max q7 14-20 sword as well as a q8 15-22 sword.

Spirit spammer in hm works a treat on yetis. They do drop a lot of hammers but I’m yet to get a spiked from them. My guess is spikes are just rare and no particular enemy drops them better then another.
100% agree, I got one long time ago from naga in the cave, never got another from them since. I would’ve thought minister Cho’s mission would be a great spot considering how many golds drop there during favor but not the case. I guess if all skins were common there would be no fun farming them right?

They drop from those new year shing yea foes in HM right?
They can drop on Shing Jea all year around, not sure if it is limited to specific zones. I have had the most luck with them from the Mantids, but when I say luck, 2 purples out of approx 500 Mantid clears in the course of just this last year. I am digging hard for Spiked Clubs and had a few clubs drop from Mantids, the Bucklers were just an added bonus.

Regardless of mods, nice drop! I think that Strength Bucklers are rarer than a lot of people realize (especially Gold), they may be as rare as those pesky Spiked Clubs and since they drop from the same area, they both cause the same headaches farming for them.
