Hey Montrell,

As a fellow Naked Martial Weapon Collector, my experience is that EOTN and NF only skins (Skins that don't also drop in OS) can only drop Purple/Gold without an Inscription in Staves. I have never seen a martial Insc skin without an Insc. With that said, martials that also drop in OS all do come in Naked. In my collection, I am only missing 1 Naked Q9 Hammer (pesky Spiked Club, have a q10) out of all Post Nerf Bows, Hammers, Axes, Swords, and Daggers that drop as OS.

If anyone has an EOTN or NF only skin (non-staff) that doesn't have an insc, I would love to see it.

Wow, I have run this well over a thousand, maybe even 2 thousand times in the course of a year and never got one here. I have updated the sword list above to reflect this find. Congrats!! Hopefully the next one will be a q8.

The rumor is correct. I am the founder of the largest q8 15-21 club known to the public with over 100 members. The members of all rarities that consist of both Inscripted and Oldschool, gather on a regular basis and talk about their journeys of where they were dropped, if their origin was from a chest or an enemy foe they escaped from, how some of them were immediately loved, put into a storage and left alone for awhile or even threatened to be sold to a merchant before they were saved.

Congrats on the recent q8 max gold OS shield drop of any kind.

Unfortunately the single mod makes it less desirable but someone may be interested for 10-20e as F A L Q U E suggested.

If you get lucky enough to drop a nice dual mod, I strongly recommend not to sell as private sale and put it up for auction, that will likely bring in multiple bids and maximize your sale.

Gold OS Dwarven Axes no longer drop, you can only get purple OS Dwarven Axes from the Keyless Chest quest in SF.

To add to the clean drops from battle plan mission topic, and since this is the “does it exist” thread, I believe there is a tiny chance of a max q8 clean focus or maybe even shield dropping here, but does one exist?

This is true, I do have some of those, not sure if these are ones that Blind Was My Fury was thinking of. These are different from what we would think of dropping from EOTN foes in explorer areas directly, but they are dropped from the Charr Battle Plan missions as the items are somewhat "bugged", as a result, they can drop as moddable items (Focus, Shields, Wands) but do not have insc slots.

Blue shields can definitely drop without an inscription. That is essentially a white with just a handle. Been screwed by these blue unid teases before, heartbreaking to not see the inscription spot.
