Are you referring to Mausoleum (AKA Mauso) items?

These are EOTN items that are normally inscripted but temporarily dropped due to a quest glitch with an inherent and a removal mod, or even 3 mods in the cases of shields, wands and foci.

Here are a few examples I have of Mauso Items, the Wyvern Blade is an EOTN skin that has an inherent mod and the Blood Spore Scepter is an EOTN skin that has both an inherent (HCT of Death) and a Wand Wrap (HSR).

The same apply to the variety of Spears and Scythes out there that have an inherent mod.

If this is not what you were referring to, I apologize. Please provide a little more detail as I personally have never heard of an item with both an "Inscription" slot and inherent.

Just to clarify, Miner's chests are in Sorrow's of Furnace. This thread is specific to the Grenth's Footprint location which is considered Southern Shiverpeaks. The chest type in NM would be the Shiverpeak Chest, as a result, plenty of Summit Weapons drop from these chests. On the topic of Summit Chest drops, I only have 165 chests worth of data collected from Tasca's, 3 of which were Summit shields (1.8% but on a smaller sample).

Both runs can have potential and the run itself becomes personal preference, personally, I prefer to run both

The SSS or SWS Shields will drop from any of those Chests being that they are all surrounded by Summit Foes.

I went back to my log from 2018-2019 for this run, out of 457 chest, I got 12 Summit Shields (4 SSS & 8 SWS).

The chances were about 1 out of every 38 chests (2.6%).

With that being said, this is an average over the full population, I had a few that I got within 5 chests from one another, but I also had a span of 123 chests between dropping one.

Other than the Muddy Terrain, it is one of my favorite runs. You can find up to 4 sometimes 5 chests if you even run down the hill as if you were going to SF but stop once you start to see the NPCs for the quests.

Congrats for finding a new max q2 hammer. Please don't merch. As much I would want it for collection, to be fair to others, I think you may have other interest so you can post for sale and see what you get for offers, I will be one of them.

You may be able to get 15-25e for the skin and a descent (but not max for purple) mod.

Hey Foxy!!

Those are rather rare surprisingly. I have only seen 2 max q8 scythes, both are gold and safe in a vault ;). This is the first blue one I have seen, q8s are more common to drop with 9-38. It’s been awhile since I bought those 2 golds so I may be off on a current day price but my guess would be around 25-30e for a blue one to someone who knows the rarity, as well as they can be used.
