Can't find one of my characters even tho same instance

Hi. I have two accounts and in pre-searing. was wanting to give items to a character (which I've done b4) but cannot find them today. The instance says we are both in american active district 1. Weirdest thing I can't figure out. Any of you have ideas? Ty.

Found out my issue was due to a patch coming out. Had to restart both clients. problem fixed.
