I have returned after a couple of years and I have never been into trading and I know nothing about currency and items like what is valuable and what is not. I know that the usual currency is ectos and not plat I think. I am just requesting a price check because the item is gold

Well, 116 gold is what it's worth, it's easy to talk to people on the market and farming or chest running on this website, I suggest that you find a active guild to help get back into the game.
Also watching the sell and buying sections to see what items are getting offers on or what people are looking for is a decent way in to the market to go hunting for said item to sell.
And you can also ask on here about any item., but reading rules before so to avoid issues.
