Is there a list of max possible mods for old school purple items or are the same as gold?

Alright yea, so for purple os items, max mods for your examples would be 14^50, +40wE (or maybe +41, haven't seen that one yet), +9vs, etc according to the table.

also purple wands cant example drop max +5energy mod
also gold example 5/20 mod for shield cant drop 4/xx
