If it would drop from any dungeon e.g. the daily hundred of time ran ones like soo, bog, ... we would have seen more of them. I am convinced it drops only by certain mobs / in certain area(s) or dungeon(s).
Ice imps were suggested, but has anyone tried farming this guy?
I have just under 20 kills(not a lot I know). But he hasn't dropped me anything, I've had more luck with the Frozen Elementals in that little cave

I'm still holding my breath until I see a "mob name drops a Glacial Blade" in a chat window. It's a hopeful start tho.

Glacial Blade wont drop in Purple(Uncommon) at least per the patch notes. So it's bait. I wont believe anything about Glacial Blade until I see video and/or a single chat window screen of what dropped it, or someone looting from a Locked Chest
That being said. This is my continued research towards the Glacial Blade. I am holding any and all information related to it's drop point. There are several people on this project with me and if anyone else wants to share their farms/findings are more than welcome.

I have recently deep dived into this topic of the hunt for the Glacial Blade. That being said and after reading the forum chats here for nearly an hour it is funny no one has mentioned Lord Glacius, granted I have farmed this guy recently. About 50 kills, 5 green staves but not a single "new skin". Sorry it's not super exciting news, but I think any and all data in regards to this sword is good.
I am also not restricting my self to the idea of it only being in Norn Areas. I've ironically thought of the Armored Saurus in Dalada Uplands and other various bosses. I even did a little Destroyer Core farming in Glint's Challenge for the hell of it.
