I personally believe that a B/O should always be respected.
I completely understand that sometimes a seller might not fully realise the value of what they have, but that's precisely why, if you're unsure, you simply don't set a B/O and let the auction run to see how the market reacts.
The problem with not respecting buyouts or auction deadlines is that, little by little, Legacy loses some of the charm that makes trading here so special.
I've personally received offers above my own B/O in the past, and I've never accepted them. A deal is a deal, and to me, that's part of the game.
Of course, I'm saying all this with the utmost respect for everyone involved and absolutely no intention of offending anyone. Just sharing my personal view on something I believe is important for this community.
