I am looking to buy (mostly) mixed attribute 20/20 Celestial Staves. To be more specific:

• R9-R13, only attributes that can still drop (I believe there once were Restoration staves - if so, I don't want those)
• 20% HCT inherent mod, attribute doesn't have to match the requirement.
• Max damage, max HSR
• While I am mostly interested in mixed attributes, if you have matching ones let me see them. Depending on cash reserves, I might like those.

Ideally, please provide a screenshot of the item card. Alternatively, I need to know: Req, HCT attribute, gold value and damage type (for ritualist attributes). Since most of these staves have no practical value, I pay according to req:

R9: 30e, R10: 27e, R11: 24e, R12: 21e, R13: 18e

Of course, matching attribute ones are a different story, here we would need to find a fair price.

I am not interested in one-offs, near max, other inherents, 20/10, other skins, etc. Only 20/20. Only Celestial Staves.

Keep in mind that I already have a fair amount of these and don't need duplicates, but there are plenty of gaps left in my collection.

Yeah, the drops are generated at instance creation (back in the days, they also all had the same rarity iirc, so if one person got a purple from a chest, nobody else would open it). And since the game stacks the same kind of item if they're stackable, the first person who gets the Elite Tome (should also work for normal ones, actually) simply gets them both. Or all three. In effect, you're stealing someone else's loot. As far as I know, another person in the instance will receive nothing from that chest. At least, I have never seen one person get an Elite Tome and someone else get the same type of Elite Tome from the same chest.

The odds are then simply the odds of [number of human players in the instance] rolls having two of the same type of Elite Tome. Not technically hard to calculate if you know the odds of getting an Elite Tome from a chest.

As promised, I am now selling most of the items from my PC thread. As usual, we begin with the ground rules. Read them carefully.

• I will close bidding on any item 3 days after the last bid on that item. This timeframe might shorten towards the end of the auction.
• When I close bidding, I will sell if the price looks decent.
• I accept bids in Ectos or Arms. Arms are currently 40e, unless the market shifts massively that won't change.
• I will only accept offers in those currencies that are made in this thread. No PM bids, no ingame sales. I sell here or not at all.

I was told some of these items are quite desirable, so I would like to get some price checks on them. I realize you will be tempted to say "just put them up for auction and see", but that answer is obviously not very helpful for me. So ideally, I'd like some concrete numbers to at least get an idea of what's worth selling.

EDIT: I didn't mean to come off as rude. I understand a PC is a vague thing and depends on interest. So to make it clear, I would like to know some reasonable lower end to set starting bids. Due to experiences on the site, I will obviously not set buyout prices. Also, since people have wondered in the PMs: I will most likely put these up for auction, so this is not just "egosurfing". If I was only interested in a rough price for the sake of curiousity, I would clearly state so. Note that in the past, I also put up my PC threads as auctions shortly afterwards.

In case I missed something, any item with a most recent bid from the 1st of June is now no longer available. A word on the staves: I might sell some of them for the currently offered price, but some of them are very low and I might decide to keep them, especially any Q9 ones. This is somewhat up to my mood

As for the items without any offers so far, give them a look, there are some nice items that could still be had for a potentially low price.

I may have PC'd some of these before, but I don't think I ever got very many specific answers, and some of these are definitely new. Anyway, there are a lot of items and I don't want to end up putting all of them for sale and getting 20e for the majority of them, so I'm mostly interested in which of these (if any) might fetch a decent price (maybe 100e+).

Lots of +5 energy OS martials. I guess I never know which skins are worth something.

Some Dualvamp/Dualzeal. Are dualzeals ever worth keeping?

Some shields. I guess they're mostly worthless, but then a Q9 -2/+45 Celestial apparently went for 20a, where the highest bids I ever got on one was maybe 200e?

Wands. From what I can tell, anything that is not 20/20 with matching attributes is worthless?

Staves. I would really appreciate some solid PCs here, especially since I might soon be in the market for some Celestial Staves myself. I seem to be mostly getting them for Air Magic

Focuses. There is a Q8 that is one off, I guess that completely kills it? Also, are any worth keeping that are not 20/20? Also, those are actually two completely identical 10/10 Healing Ankhs, down to the gold value.

I know the list is really lengthy (and I didn't bother numbering the stuff), so I'd appreciate even if you only took a brief look at some of the sections.

Celestial Staves are more common, at least in the usually farmed spots. I know, I farm there myself. And the question is not what something is valued at, but what it sells for. After all, I was told my Q10 Air 20/20 Celestial could go for 300+, and it didn't even hit 150. I stand by what I said, maybe a bit over 500e. Of course, with such a small market, a bidwar could easily escalate the price.

Firstly, note that both Celestial Staves and Scepters do not exist inscribable, so they cannot be fully modded, which increases the price of "good" ones quite a bit.

Staves: I would say even a Q9 20/20 would not go above 500e, maybe a bit more for Channeling and (substantially) less for Communing/Spawning.

Q9 20/10 I throw away 3-4 a month, so I doubt those would be expensive, 50e maybe, again more for Channeling than the other attributes.

Scepters: A Q9 20/20 would be *very* expensive, I do not know if any even exist, and if they do, matching attributes would cost a lot. Definitely arms, not ectos.

Less useful combinations would be a lot cheaper, but I don't believe there is much of a market for them. Generally, oldschool wands are not traded much so if you want one you'd probably need to search for a while.

This is based just on my own attempts to find and sell such staves, which is limited, so take it with a grain of salt.

Some species are specific to Prophecies. I do not have a complete list, but Dwarves/Charr/Giants/... will only drop in Prophecies, whereas Demons should only drop in Factions. So if a skin can only be found in one of those campaigns, it cannot have all possible creature mods. I suspect that Eternal Shields cannot drop in Factions-related areas (I think UW counts as Prophecies or maybe Core for this purpose) and that therefore, you cannot find a +vs Demons Eternal Shield, just like you can't find a +vs Charr Ornate Shield.

I'd say more on the lower end of 300-500e.

I had that Q10 Air one up for auction which went up to 150e and the buyer never even collected it. So even though it is a very pretty skin, I cannot confirm that there is a massive amount of hype over them.

I was wondering if all caster attributes can appear as HCT Mods on OS staves. Perhaps this information can already be found somewhere, but at least my google searches yielded nothing.

I am specifically talking about generic staves that are not linked to a specific profession (Cockatrice, Celestial, Platinum, Bo, ...). It seems likely that any (caster) attribute is possible on the HCT mod, but I cannot recall ever having seen HCT on Soul Reaping, Fast Casting or Energy Storage. On the other hand, Divine Favor and Spawning power definitely do exist.

Does anyone have any details on this? Keep in mind I am not talking about the required attribute, those are more limited and listed on the wiki. This is about the inherent HCT 20% <Attribute> mods that OS staves can drop with.
