Regarding the rest: On this sale here, the seller is well aware of the term b/o since he just moved it to 1000a.
I imagine that goes in your favor since you were less quick on the first b/o.

For swords:
It seems to me that beyond 284 gold, the Q8s are pre-nerfed (not 100% sure about the exact value, but close to within a few gold).
For stuff under this gold value, depends skin (q8 gold shadow blade doesn't drop anymore as i know)

Even though I get hGt reasoning, the gold or purple versions are way harder to drop than the blue one—which can technically drop from almost any mob, even in HM.
15-50a range for it is more realistic imo.
