Ok so after seeing Marty reply in another thread I stumbled across this gem, I guess you could call it a "defence staff".

Gives me +9energy, 10%hct, +12AR on a ranger with no investment in Divine Favor.

Also notice the -5%crit chance? I think this could relate to the last post.

In T4 UWSC I use an Envoy Staff as they have a 10%hct inherent, then put another two mods on it.

So it becomes 10%hct, 10%hct, 10%hct, +20% enchanting




Whilst on the subject I once met this dude who played only with a staff for damage, his build was quite interesting and funny to me and I still have it saved, he also ran a ranger who only used a staff and called it a "druid" he was using beast mastery + smiting enchants to buff his pet in prophecies.

the paragon/monk/warrior enemies i'm killing in nightfall can drop bows, daggers and scythes; i'm interested to know if they drop them less than dervish/assassin enemies would; or whether it only matters whether your enemy is ranged/melee/spellcaster.

I was always told to put the superior absorption rune on the chest piece for warrior, because of the hit box size. idk if it's an old wives tale. but other than that the rune placement isn't so important. the +3 rune is usually placed on your headpiece because it stacks and makes more sense to swap these out for each attribute/build.

I used to do the R/A whirling ToC farm in fissure of woe, I recently switched to D/A sand shards which means they all die at different times but within 5-10 seconds, noticed significantly more shard drops on Dervish. This is just my observation, never kept records etc.

*also never paid attention to favor as I'm going for shards during pantheon.

Hi we have a luxon alliance in EviL that you are welcome to join, we've been around a couple years and have held cavalon etc in the past; right now we focus on PvE content and Sc's such as fow/deep/urgoz/dungeons etc.

It's not a full alliance as we re-formed 2 months ago but there are spots for budding guilds to join us.
