the demon zod shield is the only item there who is remotely even valuable. not saying its worth much,but rest is merch.

the thing is tho, people have become so spoiled by any buffs,OP builds that people dont really know how to play good. Before the pcon hysteria we didnt have cons fow,uw,deep,urgoz,tombs. They want to play gw with as little effort as possible. Most people are so used to use pcons/cons if anything remotely challenging come their way.
oh the humanity that your farming only lasts for 2weeks worth of cons/pcons. I cant possible farm the mats myself every 2weeks or so can I?

People always complain about how they want bots removed from gw,and now its gone people looses their mind over it, and its not because bots are finally gone. No,its because pcons/cons are more expensive. Oh no, I have to spend more platt or ectos for cons. Gw was functioning awesome before pcons/cons came into play as much it has the last decade or so.
most people that do sc have tons of ectos and arms so they have the money anyways.

Unsure where the q8 information is coming from given this is a q9 so pretty irrelevant. Anyways just going off of what I was told as a PC for mine a while back

a q8 gold offhand with 20% and a second mediocre mod is worth more than 100-150e Ectoplasmus.
I dont think the straw effigy has any value to it,second really mediocre mod and +1 20% prot in combination of that is not really good and kinda useless,unless you collect straw effigy offhands.
With those mods I wouldnt even spend 20ectos on it.

I dont think you could get more than 20-50e even bladed shields are rare. Not many really are looking for that shield combo, and if 1 person does you should accept the persons offer.

Whenever I do carto and those hard to reach mapping spots I aswell go really slow back and forth until I get it. You wont get it by just running casually on the edge of map. Sometimes I had to spend like 10min or 15min to hug those corners. There is that frost gate mission and there is a few spots there I spent like 2hours to try and map it and I still couldnt get it...

nr3 is still merch Joker.Even if it is dual with 2 perf mods. Its 2 very bad inherient mods put together,even if its q9. Even if it was q8 I dont think it would generate any interest either because of the mods.

I think you can get more than pleikki is letting you on. I bought a offhand like that close to 250e in 2016 I think it was. Even tho it has mediocre mods on it has somewhat of decent mod and q8 IF there are any interest of it. Maybe I overpayed for it back then,but this is also 3years later where other mediocre weapons is worth more.

same with the celestial shield,its 2 off even if its q9
I dont think the embla demon shield is quite merch,perhaps a few e or whatever offer you can get,since it is a quite decent doa shield for beginners

That conspiracy theory is not far fetched. I actually think something similar when it comes to all powertraders, that they give low PC's in order to buy cheap and resell at maximum profit.Ive seen this many times from 2015 and to this date.
I took a break for 5 years myself and I came back in 2015 and the prices was just insane compared in 2009-2010. It was mindblowing how shitty the economy is. I dont think its just inflation,but many taking advantage of that, and giving high Pc's out of their bottoms.
But basically everything is like. there is 1 item in xunlai that is q8 non max blue and someone has the balls to sell a shitty blue staff and ofcourse there are always someone who pays,why? I have no idea. I gotten loads of blue,grapes in q8 from chests and just merched them. People have no shame anymore about selling,they just sell anything they can. Also someone have bought a q8 white fellblade for insane amount of ectos, no1 back in the day ever sold a white q8 fellblade somehow in later years its just norm among certain collectors to must have anything going back 10years or more. I guess I just have that oldschool mentality like I had back in 2005-2010 when playing gw regarding certain collections/niches or whatever you want to call them.
In 2008 I bought a os q9+5e chaos axe for like 40-60k and in 2015-2016 I bought one and I had to pay like 60-120e. Just because that 1 person has it and is selling it right now they take like 3-4x price the usual value that it should go for.
I dont really care if I get flack for this,people can give me 300dislikes and I still wouldnt change my perspective regarding this. This is discussion side of xunlai.

It doesnt really matter the gold value as long as the item is a prenerf.
I see through this. You either want a higher gold valued prenerf to brag to say ooh my pre nerf is older than your pre nerf.
Second reason is just so you can charge more for it/resell since it has a high vs lower gold value. the gold value shouldnt matter as long as its pre nerf

I think the friendlist update is horrible. If you add a nickname, it replaces the actual name. When in fact it should show the name of the player, then the nickname like you see where the friend is ing
