I made the mistake of mentioning that I didn't have my original email address, since years ago when I changed my phone number, I changed it everywhere except my email. That's why I lost my first Legacy account too >,<). They haven't mentioned anything about this, but it wasn't a problem in the past because I haven't changed my bank account, and even if I had, my personal information would be the same. I still have my GW Factions and Gwen cards and boxes. In the past, a few simple questions and checks were enough, and I don't know what bothers me more: that the ban is because of my name or that they're suspicious of me and won't give me a chance to prove myself. Basically, the security of my account has depended on my smartphone for years, and in the end,wasn't hackers who stole it from me, it was the politicians hahaha laught to dont cry
As I said, he only referred to the character's name, and despite my replies since the last message, I haven't heard anything more about the topic.
And if it's solely because of the name, I'm surprised I don't know of more cases; I've even seen Einstein's cousin
edit: I was planning to buy another account when I found out they were removing the character slots from the store, but for now, no.
I was banned several times on GW2 for afking my necro with auto loot in a specific dung no bots just the actual mechanics of the game
6 months each time and I was told I violated the EULA for being afk in a solo run of a dung
after the 3rd ban I finally just decided that I was not going to play GW2 any longer.
And I refuse to buy anything more from the GW Store or ANet.
I also got banned in GW2 for "Running 3 accounts at a time" but I have 3 full computers on my desk with 3 fully purchased accounts mine and old accounts for my 2 sons that no longer play.
I don't think the same mods run GW2 as GW1 because as of today 20 years into the game I have not been banned even for 1 day in GW1.

and then expect to pay 1plat or get it for free!!!!
and then when you tell them that item they are try'n to buy is normally 15e
they get angry and act like "YOU" are the A55H0L3 because you are attempting to educate them....
I see same users in this thread frequently post perf dual mod shields. Even I play all day never seen this stuff. This seems more frequent drop of high quality items sometimes with rare skins than normal. Are people using bots?
It's a very likely assumption
Some do some don't. If you play casually some few hours per day it is highly unlikely you will get these things to drop unless you are either extremely lucky or you keep trying for a long period of time. This being said, I know for a fact some people that have posted in this thread are botting, but I think most people don't.
totally agree, i go through heavy and light periods of play and for sure longer hours logged = more quality drops
