has anyone had a drop from a normal mode chest?
Like cantha chest for example
I ran Pongmei NM and no drops. Only locked chest HM dropped.

Why? It would be the only item of the new ones from an endchest. So, it would be out of order.
it obviously is out of order because we have only seen it once by now.
Out of order can also mean drops very rarely from very specific mobs. Anyways. Time will tell 😁 and in the end I will be right of course 😆

As we can believe anet, it drops in eotn. For sure.
Now the question is where.
My best guess besides drakkar lake djins would be ice imps. Probably not even locked chests, rather themselves. In hardmode should be tried.
Why ice imps? The glacial blade could be a hommage to the icy dragon sword that only drops from.... yes! ice imps in prophecies. It is fitting, a hommage.
or it is the thematically fitting dragrimmar dungeon chest. maybe dungeons have not been farmed as heavily since the update because everything else seemed to just drop from mobs or locked chests. therefore it took so long to get a glacial blade

Also, the drag. endchest already has an exclusive item.
I think it must come from foes or locked chests.
