I feel you. I wish I never had bought that ATI Radeon X1600 Pro Guild Wars Edition back then.

Buying items in gw is like buying stocks in real life, sometimes u win and sometimes u lose, never know when some president or GM decides someting that make prices to crash ;P
Thats why i allways say, only buy things u dont plan on selling and wouldnt mind keeping no matter what, and ure on good route. Then it doesn't matter what happens around u
ps. here is crysta of someone making such decisions, that he gave me autographed.
With the difference that IRL things are my actual property and in gw they are always anet's property. Anet will always have the full dictatorship control over whatever you invest in. Let's not forget that in this discussion.
Golden talons maybe ~10e.
Rest I would merch
To make it short:
I do feel sorry for those people who legitimately without RMT acquired these.
I do not feel sorry for RMT folks.
Both categories should have been fully aware of the risks with vizu/zhed/oni/naga-update.
Minis still will lose value but still hold certain value, as they remain tradeable "prenerf" versions.
Would be a major plot twist if the new minis will be visually slightly different from the previous versions, but I exclude this to happen.
Would merch both.
Agree the chaos axe is money.
whats about pre minis ?
A pre char can not access embark beach, thus it wont be able to take & make the quest for mini reward, thus wont apply to pre.
Curious about global weapon drops if they will drop in pre aswell. Probably not, but you never know.
Shadow shield 30e
euh this is more relsted to the other stats.
Extreme example:
A q13tac 45ench 10demon GotH would be still indefinetly more valuable than a q9 strength 9 demons 44ench.
The usefullness of stats matters the most. Then the req.
4 maybe 10-15e
5 10-20e
Glacial Blades lets goooo!!!!
looks like certain pre-nerf OS weapons aren't reintroduced, so i can keep farming Kilroy chests
Well see, there is that last line "And you'll want to keep an eye out for some other rare drops."
Maybe we get reindeers at drops and OS weps? or other minis
But what makes me wonder most is the line of randomized drops and ranges of mods, could this mean the skins drop OS in tyria/cantha and insc in nf and eotn? And do they also drop in pre ???
And do they drop in q8 then in the relevant areas (sword/shield/focus)
Big winners of this update:
Hench tonics
Reindeer tonics
Mini Ghero
Mini Ghostly Priest and other box minis
seal what is the gold value of the colossal pick? In any case, I am interested in purchasing. Let me know please when it is for sale!
Either here via pm or Ingame: Hate Core Sin
I am aware of this. But I wouldnt see smite in the area of 30-50a.
10-20a sounds better than my ~10a.
Celestial staff by far the most, rest I would definetly merch.
The cele staff I would see around 10a.
The daggers I would see worth around 10-20e realistically. If someone is particular looking for them you might be able to ask a bit more. But dont expect high demand will be rather a niche sale.
Mammoth axe merch
Butterfly knives take what you can low xxe
Dont expect much. Low xxe to merch, especially q13 ones. Communing also not a popular req.
Would merch them. The kournan defender is max but str is not much sought after on lower req shields
Skele 30a
Skeleton 10a
Would merch all.
1 to 5a is a wide range in relative matters. 1a max would agree with. Apart from that please only judge other people's price checking knowledge when you are in the position to do so. And I can tell you are definetly not.
1-5a being a wide range is absolutely laughable. That might be a wide range if say, you only possess 2 armbraces? 1-5a is roughly 40-200+e. I'm not interested in having an argument though, I'm here to provide ACCURATE information to someone asking for a price check.
I've been doing this for 20 years and it's pretty clear to me that you might be the one in need of some additional knowledge.
It is relatively seen a wide range yes. As 5 is factor 5 of 1. But apparently even that is too high maths for you.
I didnt see you doing PCs for 20 years and on this forum you are a no-name and I can tell you, you will remain one with your complete nonsense price checks.
I will help you:
It is not early 2000s anymore, nobody plays warrior/ele tank with str & earth magic anymore in DoA.
With every single post you make, you make it even worse.
Gloom 20e
Above poster is incorrect. This would be a highly useful shield for DoA, and it's a great skin. 1-5a at least imo.

Merch both
Wouldnt expect much as two handed non q9 DV.
xxe as a DV after all
Display MoreMy guess:
Weapons (old): my best guess would also be /bonus (preorder etc) weapons. I highly doubt that e.g. swamp club will be returned. This is way too specific and I doubt in the OS knowledge of current anet employees.
I actually think it could be the opposite:
Those few nerfed drops don't require that much special knowledge. It's a few skins that you can easily find out with a little research (if thats even necessary in the first place, we're talking about the company that created the game) and thats it.
Pre-order items on the other hand would set kind of a weird precedent: They are items that you could never get from gameplay, tied to buying a special version of the game. First of all they would kind of compromise the sales of the (admittedly only really remaining single set of) bonus items you can get on their online store. And second, where would anet draw the line? It would be arbitrary if not ALL of the bonus weapons were added. And then why stop there and not make the divine aura available for everyone or make mini kuunas earnable in-game.
I'm not arguing for or against it, i just find there to be issues with that logic unless we flat out get everything that's ever been a bonus code.
Vizus/naga/zhed/oni etc. also werent available from gameplay once a while ago. And then they became from clicking a box.
I just doubt that some anet employee makes even that little research on prenerfs here on legacy and then adds them to the game. Bonus weapons just appear to me way more convenient and similiar to what they did with previously limited pets for an anniversary. Make them a char/acc bound greenie, done.
Anyways, Apr 15th will tell, also dont wanna argue. I just guess and even if I knew I would not tell anyone
My guess:
Minis: Definetly not all of the limited ones as they write "certain". Which ones: I dont guess but it will certainly follow a pattern. I personally dont think it will target the "big 4", and rather ones below, but you never know.
Weapons (old): my best guess would also be /bonus (preorder etc) weapons. I highly doubt that e.g. swamp club will be returned. This is way too specific and I doubt in the OS knowledge of current anet employees.
"Other new loot": I mean this could be anything from minor to huge. Huge could mean even stuff like new consumables, new weapon skins etc. as it just says "loot".
Very excited and awesome to see this after 20y!
Hope to see many players returning to this still amazing game.
