  • Mission/quest.

    Ahh i was just about say Althea's Ashes aswell Marty for favorite quest ;)

    But ill pick different now id say my favorite quest is Kilroy Stonekin. From doing Sorrow Furnance back in day that quest allways comes to my mind 1st and even thesedays i find myself doing that quest often :)

    Favorite mission i would say is Dragons Lair, its just fun and same time remember all the annoying skill caps when had to do the mission 8 times on different chars to capture the elites from facets :)

  • Giving GW another chance~

    GW Wiki has good guides for all missions and quests to make them easyer and how to do them.

    Also eye of the north (Ie. Rata sum and such) Are Expansion and "harder missions" to do, so you should start with doing original campaings by following storyline so you understand how things work before going to Eye of the north.

    It is adviced get Heros from Eye of the north tho, get some good hero builds from gw pvx and you should be fine.

    so my tips are, grab some henchs and as good heros as you can, Until youve unlocked enough skills for your heros it is probably better use henchmen.
    Follow storyline of original campaings.
    Find guild, there are many guilds who are helpful and would help you out :)
    and check Wiki, it has every info and guide about Guild wars so it should help you alot on your way

    since i dont have dervish my para includes also my very few scythes.

    Also!! my only inscriable item :O it been impossible find mauso para shield ;/ But either way i love my Tengu shied :D

    And i want to add here as you edites yes to lvl22 chests on OP that i Said The Range IS lvl17-21 so No to killroys And ascalon/shing jea HM. Figured If id edit My Post you wouldnt notice this. Hence double post

    I would personally put ? On those lvl22 since noneone Been able prove they Cant drop q8 but i guess IT might have 0.00000001% change until someone proves IT wrong

    300-450g chests only ones that can drop it. lvl Range IS 17-21 that drops q8. And for other. Maguuma IS lvl 18 kourna cantha And elonian lvl20.

    HM shing jea And ascalon lvl22. All 600g+ are lvl24+
    Kryta lvl 15.

    For other chests 1st keyless on killroys quest lvl20, 2nd 22 And 3rd 24. Fow/uw keyless lvl24.

    And ive had drop of q8 each of chests i started yes

    meh i dont think that matters, i wouldnt see meyham coming, atleast i wouldnt care if ppl got the items i allready got.

    I think it would only effect the few quickest ppl that could snap some few items that MAYBE someone got custod someting they dont like anymore and would sell it, most likely noneone would like sell items theyve got customized even if they were uncustod..

    i think after all its about getting items you like rarity is irrelevant atleast to me i dont care if theres 5 of them uncustod around or if its the only one when its someting i just want to own.

    The hacking issue yes, tho as said there is allready small market for customized items so it isnt 100% safe way keep ur items as safety measure by customizing them either now, it would just do greater good for hackers and maybe attract new ppl into that, but at this late in game and all i dont rly think there are any "hackers" left unless theres another breach from arenanet.

    mhm. the q8 mag is q8 mag but seen ones with better mods hardly get offers over 30-40a, i dont rly think this will be much more then 10-15a

    For cele it rly is hard to say, id personally say 20-25a minimal and anything over that is great (Howmuch more it could go noneone can rly say without trying)

    Blink thats up for debate i wouldve taken any of those 3 rather then this1 ;) and celestials are most common q7 shields and also one of least wanted skins in gw

    Yeah best shing jea run ive managed find is from shing jea monastery to sunqua vale looking 1st few mantid groups front of monastery and going to Cave on right side. the run helds 0-2 chests, its quite quick 1-2min run but its frustrating when u get few 0 chest runs in row.

    For Ghostly hero, i belive minipets with "ingame source" thats normal act of prices, ppl no longer dedicating the pets so it is hard find ded one, (Same goes polar, peacekeepers etc) But unded has the status on it (Probably because some minis without ingame source such as zippy, panda, yeti) are significally rarer unded so ppl think all minis as 1 group how to value them (Same could go for all q8s being rare eventho others are super rare and others arent) And it just shows there are alot more things driving the prices.

    For Customizing i personally customize almost everything, or atleast used to and ive had alot critizism for it, i dont rly see the problem on it tho because the chance the items leave me even if i dont customize them are quite small.

    It does effect on price for items that are pretty much 1 of a kind because theres high change none will be ever sold again, but who knows whats like that anyway, time has shown many items what ppl though to be last sold ever, well havent been even close and many new ones have been sold after.

    The reasoning why ppl customize items has nothing to do with market changing.

    Also, for many collectors like myself i can say buying customized item isnt problem, and i think thats the way collecting is moving anyway, its different for ppl and items that would actually be used, but i dare speak for 99% of the (limited) OS collectors here and say noneone ever uses items theyve collected, having it customized on you only shows it that you bought it 1st, or had the balls custo it 1st.
    I bought just month ago uncond q11 14% longsword for 60a, it was customized to someone else and i dont have problem with that, I do also have other customized items ive bought for xx arms recenty, it doesnt stop me from getting items i want.

    Edit@ I wanted add here this isnt rly a new thing, for several years allready ive had offers that are significant amounths of ecto for several items that are customized to me, and ive seen other ppl buy customized rare items for years too but the amounth is definetly rising.

    And that this will not be the case for all items definetly, only the really rare collectibles,stuff like staffs and wands example that are still mainly bought for use and arent limited probably wont have intrest as customized even in future.

    edit2@ Bottom line here is that the market is evolving and ppl are starting collect new kinds of items so ppl need to forget the old ways of thinkin whats crap or collectible, and open their mind for new ways to look at things.

    Besides all the figthing ive done with max, ive tried put some of my thoughs about the market between the lines and here is what i think about th market, wether other ppl agree or not is up to them but its just how i see it.

    1st. There is Nothing wrong on the market.
    - Its normal have ups and downs and other items decreased demand and others higher, but that doesnt make market broken even if it might be annoying sometimes.

    2nd. It is sellers market, but there must be some respect for others.
    - When it comes to rare items, ive allways said "Some items arent ment to be sold" because bids are too low, and thesedays i mean that more then ever before.
    - I think prices are "fair" when someone buys the item, then the buyer thinks "Thats fair. i buy it" If the prices are for buyers might not fair, he wont buy it and thats up for the buyer to decide.

    3rd. Rarity has nothing to do with prices
    - i mean that.. When it comes to botted items they sell for higher then ever before even tho they have decreased in rarity. Same goes for many so called "rare items".

    4th. Manipulating?
    - Yes and No, i think ppl can try to manipulate market but i rly dont think its possible, its not only few ppl doing the market here, it might seem small from legacy bubble we watch it from. There are and allways have been alot more then just 1 or 2 sellers/buyers, and i belive ppl made their own minds way before asking other opinions.

    5th. Is it the end coming?
    - No Collecting never been better then it is now, being on market so long i can say there was never so many perf q7/8s on market then past years 2015-2017, back in 08-11 there was WAY less rare items sold, mainly because thesedays ppl come here back to quit, cash out, sell their gear for what ever reasons.

    6th. Can we rly blame botters and ebayers?
    - For someting we can, like making some stuff more common, but they also bring market money that everyone uses to buy their items, anyone here whove been struggling between the ppl with unlimited funds know its two bladed sword. u also take advantage from them by selling the items to them, which gives u alot cash to buy other items for high prices again. its rly odd to complain about high buying prices when i dont see anyone selling their goods any cheaper then current market either.

Other ppl, active ppl go with current market And value their items And Price checks based on that. Youre the one here trying manipulate market with trying tell ppl false information from Ur own mind without any idea how things are thesedays.

    You Make yourself completely fool everytime you open Ur mouth.

    Legacy IS great place nothing wrong with The site, only you keeping ppl away from here with all The craziness your trying here do, i seriously recommend stepping Down For legacy sake.

    PS. The point wasnt about selling items For reserves you have Set. It was about what right u got to say ur reserves or prices are fair More then others. I can say they arent. And still u complain other ppl asking or selling too high.

    Yes The main point in here is that ppl need to stop mixing rarity with demand THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS
    I see everyday ppl say someting is rare simply because its sells for alot. NO that is Demand Not Rarity
    Same goes for "Quirky" or some would call "Bad" items, There is no Demand that doesnt make it common.
    Everyone has to remember It only takes that 1 Buyer (Demand) for the quirky item sell for high price.

    So please. stop saying someting is common or rare and base your opinions on that especially if u got no idea what ure talking about.

    Ive seen a few, 3-5, many similar ones Ive seen Dozens, alot similar and nicer I have Yet to see better curse straw or

    another skin in same class in last 8years.

    Probably 100A+ 50-100A+ Probably less then original 75e.


    Conclusion?

    Does True rarity of items matter even little to items valuation?

    If someone wouldve started hoarding straws like ppl did examples 1 or 2 could it be alot higher?

    If ppl wouldnt have hoarder the examples 1 or 2 would their prices be in same class with straw or less?

    Can we blame botters and gold buyers as everyone does for everything happening on market?

    Noneone can say but the absolute fact is Rarity has Nothing To do with prices these items sell for and its just my 2 cents.

    I want to Ask from anyone that has sold some high end items recently on legacy If theyve sold them For bids here? I can answer For Myself. Answer IS no. Everytime i Post someting If id sell them For bids received on legacy IT would Be same as getting robbed.
    Now why on earth i would suggest other ppl sell items For bids here?

    I have to say here that only telling people to "see what bids go" wastes alot potential in many items. Maybe with guru it worked when majority of community used The site it worked. But with only small part of community being on legacy thesedays i often know many stuff posted could be sold for alot higher ingame or to right people.

    So giving Price checks based on that is rly important. Ppl can Be cut short here on this site aswell not only ingame.

    Im not generally making prices off My head. IT comes from years exprience of selling The items And i know what ive sold it. And The prices evolve all The Time And there IS no reason they would atleast go Down all of sudden when IT comes to Limited items
