I think all the weapons can drop from anywhere in EoTN.
If you mean anywhere like anywhere then it is wrong. E.g. vaettirs/raptors dont drop all of the skins for sure.
Possibly from chests, and I would guess any dungeon?

Hourglass which seems asura drop everywhere too.
And i know someone got glacial blades from charr areas.

Over the last 3 days ive done about 30 runs of dragrimmar with an alt account leaching
So 60 chests opened in hardmode.
0 Glacial blade/blades.
I didnt kill the Fragment of Antiquites
Ive occasionally opened locked chests, but low on lockpicks so not many
I feel like this isnt the place for them unless its from the mini boss

A regular VoS is doing the job.
P-cons are optionnal, but can be more efficient during favor to farm faster (Alcohol + Bday cupcake)

small sample size, but i hope its not dropped from here xD
making a skin exclusive to a quest enemy like that would be such a troll move, i don't think anet would do that

Glacial blade:
So we now know that it exists and drops.
As we can believe anet, it drops in eotn. For sure.
Now the question is where.
My best guess besides drakkar lake djins would be ice imps. Probably not even locked chests, rather themselves. In hardmode should be tried.
Why ice imps? The glacial blade could be a hommage to the icy dragon sword that only drops from.... yes! ice imps in prophecies. It is fitting, a hommage.
What about the glacial griffon? Could it be that the blade can only drop from the glacial griffon HM? I'm wondering as it is the only (?) boss with "glacial" in its name, plus it fits the whole norn region theory

Iron man time once again thanks to the prospect of new loot
Starting in factions.
Rules are kinda short this time around due to brand new account.
Rules -
No player trading
No teaming with any player
No bonus mission pack for weapons
No weapon merchant/collectors, everything must be dropped.
No meta heros when the time comes (BiP, ST or mesmers)
Campaigns can be completed in any order
Deaths are allowed
Bank allowed, since no alts/new account
Goals:
All minipet quests completed
All elite areas in HM
Glacial blade(s)
Obby Armor
Get GWAMM?
Add me to any iron man guild

I think for the meta team probably only the ST would use it.
Necro doesn't have many elites you would want on a healer and probably a damage loss over spamming mesmer with energy using BIP
Only reason you would use necro mod on mesmers if it allowed you to drop inspiration and use more damage. Would need to be tested
However if your bored of the typical meta team, then the mod should work well on teams that don't use BIP

Well, i have earned some limited minis the legit way back then, which i am still holding to this day, i don't have much armbraces or ectos or even plats besides those minis...
Really appreciating the middle finger from Devs, but not surprised because they did it before and they did it again in the first year of GW2. Recycling is the only thing they can do well i guess.
Lesson to be learned: don't store value in items in GW 1 & 2 because nothing has real value, except the money they can extract from you, that's why limited pets you paid with real money like Kuuna and Varesh are not on the list lol
If you've had them from "way back" then you clearly had no interest in selling them.
So apart from perceived value, you haven't lost anything, you still have the minis.

I suppose the main effect is players like myself who aren't super rich but had the goal of farming to get one of the minis.
I want an island guardian as its my favourite mini, rarity doesn't matter to me. It's something I'd never be able to afford at current rates so I'm happy to be getting one.
Unfortunately legit players are losing a lot of money but I dont think many people who own them have gotten them through legit means, whether RMT or botting or hacking/asking support for accounts.
I'd be shocked if any of the players with the minis on the accounts don't have thousands of armbraces anyway.

you know the rule.. if its nik or crgcrgcrg selling you have to half the price for its real value. WTS price means nothing.
