You may be able to get a few ecto for some of the Req 9's but pretty much all of the higher req stuff is merch food.
I would personally offer you some ecto for the Shadow Blade because I do like the skin and it has a good inherent mod

Just had the beautiful shield drop during another round of WoC favor farm... if only that 1% wasn't missing it would be perfectly squeaky clean!

Found a bunch of shields I completely forgot I had on my Elementalist.
Also, had a really nice OS Shield of the Wing drop today from WoC with that clean GV, but that 1% off mod makes me wonder how it impacts the value. Same story with the Bo Staff.

I personally have a Warrior's Endurance Dagger build that is tons of fun! There is a 'Meta' 7-hero support build where you use Assassin's Promise to spam Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support. But it gets boring quick, though it is very efficient.

Honestly, if you have the Meta Offensive Mesmerway with 40/40 sets, and if you still have leftover income. I suggest just investing in some Consumables. I used them for the bigger and more difficult zones and now have 2/3 Vanquisher titles!
Also, if you pick up the Daily Zaishen Vanquish you can earn some ZCoins while you're at it!

Met an awesome individual whilst hanging out in Kamadan. After at least an hour of back and forth trying to figure out the price of a staff, I just decided to give it to them. After all, I was given a huge gift toward my collection recently from wqa (Thank You again as well, my friend! <3)
Then, when I went to offer this person the Smiting Staff and what they put into the trade window about made my jaw hit the floor!
Keep in mind, I have never even owned, let alone opened one of these before...
They told me to go ahead and sell this stack for 500e which is clearly HUGE!!

I want to make a HUGE shout out to wqa for these beautiful items! This is by far the biggest addition to the collection so far, and I seriously cannot thank you enough! When I was 13 years old and just started playing GW, the kindness of the community is what truly drew me in and kept me so engaged. Meeting really cool, and down to earth people that you can share the enjoyment of the game with is by far the best part of Guild Wars! It really warms my heart that after 20 years, there are still such wonderful people that make up this community!

Pretty much sums up my luck as of late... getting close to some good drops, yet the juicy ones are still just not dropping for me.
Finished up Canthan Vanquisher today and got a cute little q8 Jellyfish Wand....if only it was Gold.....and had mods.......
Also got this Cele Shield and it's close, but still so far!
Going to keep up the grind and get something sweet here real soon, I can feel it!
