they wont put any money into guildwars anymore, the game is not making any money and ncsoft is basically running the show on what they work on. You can ask Mike tons of questions, but I dont think you will get answers. (or the answers you get are not going to be what you want to hear). Guildwars is barely on maintenaince mode, and I am sure if they could get away with it they would get rid of it altogether (now more than before with the hack of Gailes account).

well, I hope that they dont do what they did a few years ago ---mass bannings of anyone.....and then not get the gold sellers or bots in that group! all because some kid gm from 2 had some program he thought would fix all the problems....

yeah, not that again.

VERY hot today....and the car brakes started making lots of noise again...so another day at the old dealership...though it was nothing serious (only a bit of tightening needed), though they did find the exhaust pipe was leaking so it got replaced...so that was a good thing.

10 was an idea, 5? 8? just saying that people might start picking skills at question 1, there should be some kind of limit before we can only guess which skills they are. If someone guesses a skill on question 1 then your rules say we can only guess skills and not narrow it down (and by question 10 there probably wont be anyone posting ....). So some kind of point where you can still narrow it down even if someone guessed an exact skill.
so how about for the first 5 questions you can guess anything...after that if you guess a skill then only skills can be guessed?

yeah probably, but just want to make sure (it would leave us with just necro, rit, and ele--oh and a few sin spells)

only issue I have is that people might start by asking "is it word of healing" as the first question...if you then ignore all questions narrowing down the field the 'wildly guessing' stage will happen at question 1 or 2 thus making it almost impossible to make an educated guess. I would say that perhaps not until say, question 10, that you would start that so that the options could be narrowed down before the wild guesses start.
(or if you eliminate those folks asking the direct questions at the beginning ...you will find that only one or two people will still be playing by question 12..and that by question 15 there will be no one posting as everyone has been eliminated.)

so we still have time to narrow this down instead of just randoming picking from all the possiblities that remain (and we have yet to narrow it down to a profession so there are still quite a few skills remaining!!!)

(just to repeat my guess) is it a mesmer skill?

(we know it is an elite spell from nightfall, that has a duration, does not target an enemy, has no AoE ...we know it is neither a monk nor dervish skill--did I miss anything?)

your security measures are only as good as the weakest part---having multiple deadbolts with extra locks on your doors of your house wont help you if someone leaves a window open!
Things will not change unless it happens with their princess game (which the guy said he could have gotten into as well-), the folks who are currently working on 2 dont give a rats behind (sorry fiep) for this game and never have....I think the only people who MIGHT try to change things are those that have been around for a while--like Galie herself--if she were to push something thru (having been the object of this attack) they MIGHT listen to her as she now has personal experience on just how it feels to be in that spot. Yes, Mikes reply was very canned and not very well thought out ---he sounded like a blathering idiot. And yes, I think that people who have linked accounts SHOULD be worried if someone has figured a way in to 2 thru using gw!

(I am not even going to mention the liablity of having their website hacked---as that is in the news just about every day--I wont even shop at target anymore--so they need to do some fixin' and such on that part fursur!)

havent had as much time here using them so cant really say yet...one thing I found more...difficult? is searching for the ip of a user, was able to find it, but not as easy as the old modcp was....will let you know when I have the chance to use it more (other than the 'reports' being rather bare minimum as I let you know previously).
