I would say do what is most comfortable for you. If you find using the keyboard the best---then that is ok. If you find mousing the best way, thats great too. If you do a combination of them....you get the idea.
I know back in the day the pvp 'leet' would tell you which they prefer, but if you are just doing pve it really is best the way you find most comfortable.

Well, I can give you an idea of what it would cost to bring on a new team of IT people to start working on the code....the average salary for a year for devs and IT people is about $100k (give or take--figuring in experience with older code and such etc.) and if you need a team of about 6-12...well you can start to get an idea of just the cost to bring new people in. Yes you can get cheaper programmers and a smaller team and hope that it takes less than a year to get it out, but this at least gives you a starting point (and remember anet is based in washington state, where microsoft is located as well...so there might be a good pool of resources/people to work from out there--take a look at monster and other job boards and see what the salaries are for different parts of the IT groups).

On another note, official support ended for GW some time ago. I don't think they answer any tickets related to GW1 any more. At one point, the only way to resolve an issue was through an official forum space, but that ended several years ago as well.
support has been combined--now gw2 support handles all of the tickets for both games.

Check to see if it got added anyways (view keys) it might be that it did add it but just is having issues. Log totally out and in again and look at your keys.
Where did you get the Eton from? perhaps it was a bad key.

glad it helped...yes the enter mission thing is different from nightfall, so forgetting you need to hit the button is something many people have forgotten.

I will say it again, I really cant believe its been over 13 years since I started playing and I missed all those pins along the way (never made it to a convention either they were at the wrong time or I was not in the right place
)and just like other parts of guildwars...something that they left feeling unfinished.
