profile hits is the total of all users that have looked at your page (grand total), profile visitors is usually the last few users that have visited--however, one user can visit more than once so they will only show up as a visitor but can count as more than one profile hit.
I think you dont see yourself as a visitor to your own profile because--its YOUR profile, but it might count towards the total hits. ( I could be wrong, this software is new to me as well).

well, they pushed another update, and one of my computers (my main) can now log in, however, it now looks like the are going to change the requirements for the game to XP sp2 which will now leave my alt computer (and alas my alt accounts) out of game play until I buy another laptop.
Hope this update helped a lot of people out (glad I can go and smash some charr now since I really feel like smashing things).

That is exactly what we thought---(and I did say our timing was bad------)
but I still caution because of just exactly what did happen, since they are now looking at the game again---and banning some rmt's and such.....it could still happen (again).
Strange things happen, and the big banfest of 2015 happened........so just be aware of it.
love seeing stuff like that...(which is why I have a whole bedroom full of 'stuff'....though no one will probably care when I leave it behind----)

Check the guru archive in riverside for the following thread: did anyone just receive a perma ban? and you will see what they did in 2015---and yes, I think some of you even posted in that thread!

you can read the whole thread, they banned tons of people erroneously (some were banned for good reason, others were just caught in the very wide net that was the program the kid made--a BOT program...and it was not programmed very well.)
There are folks who see the areas fogged on their map and feel the need to map them ...and we were helping just such a player and our timing was bad.
would and DID. It was considered pvp manipulation and thus a violation of EULA. (you can look up the old guru thread about the mass bans from a few years ago---and the reactions of folks back then to those of us who were only trying to help out.)
we most definitely did NOT report each other (it was during that time when they banned whole bunches of people with that bot program that guy made). As I was one of those banned (and a few others here as well) I know all we did was map the arenas.
The problem was we did not fight--we just mapped (I recall back when---there was a group that would do this for fa and jq--before they fixed them and well before the bots, and it was not an issue then, but apparently a few years ago it was....) We all eventually got unbanned but it has left a wariness in my whiskers about doing something like it again.
never---I like to move them around from my characters (and accounts), so having them custo'd is not a good thing.
