edit: well the -nosound works only if I first right click on the shortcut icon and then click ok (making sure that -nosound is still there)...then I can click on it and it works...on my main computer, and NOT with my old dat file...so am having to redownload (the old way...going to each outpost etc) all of the missing data. On my other computer, nothing is working (guess sp1 is not a good one to have left it at ) ah well, guess I have something to do for the next few days--and then hope after I redownload all the maps etc that it still works. (It did NOT work with my old dat file, nor my hubbys, it did work with the one I loaded from the old factions cds).

Really hope they get this fixed!!!

I am still unable to get past the log in screen...and the build is still the same one I was on (I get a neat serious error has occurred popup when I try to login...and the info in it is the same as yesterday when I last tried to log in)...

/sad panda still not helping here.

cell phone????? I dont even own one...the 'alerts' go to my email which is on my desktop computer, and its annoying yes, as well as unnecessary. Doesnt change the fact that it was not needed and unwelcomed. So they need a way to turn it off--for those of us who dont want or need it.

my ip tons of different ones, would take months (I think it takes about a year) before it repeats ....and my 2 account? Hadnt looked at it since....guru went down! Having to log into that system so I can log into gw is not convenient...so I hope they find a solution soon (only good thing , its one of my alt accounts and not my main--which is having no issues). But thanks for the idea. (I have had my isp for about 10 years now and have no reason, desire or ability to change to a new one....so guess I just wont be playing much on that other account)

yeah I cant log into my account that I did the beta on 2 with (I do not have a 2 account)....will try to figure out what the heck they want me to do to use it (not a techie here).
