you are correct---for the first year or so my hubby had his, he had no idea which buttons to push/swipe/etc to end a call...so new technology has its learning curve.
I will say, when I went to a restaurant and the menu was on an ipad thingy that I had no idea how to use it either (as I still dont own either a smart phone nor any pads), so a learning experience happened that day (good thing my companion was acquainted with them or it would have been a long lunch indeed!) -
