Display Morewhy people thing of it as flexing, the conversation is about the rewards of doing something. if i get paid with a minimum of work i would just do the minimum. So the problem is no one will go on further than one run for the pet and thats it, that helps no one. at least not to keep the game alive. If you never tried geting one befor why you need it know there was a couple ways to get them not only by rmt. but what sense has a game wich is done within a few minutes. and the list of that problem goes on. sure returning players wich will play the event have fun with it. but that does not reward a majority of players wich stayed over the years and tried to get der collection going.
Just generell thougths. But for the most players i talked to wich was mostly players howe played the last few years are not the biggest fan of the change. regarding they had a mini or not.
Regarding minimum work done, I guess you might exactly fall in that category : your threads on that well known shady site, buying and selling limited minis and arms since late 2023.
I guess you didn’t take the non RMT route
As a firm, Anet is looking for a surge of returning or new players to get cash through selling 20th anniversary bundles, panels, mat’s expansions, mercenary heroes and more. They won’t get any cash from the black market so they don’t care going that route.
If the community you talked with is linked to high end trades during the the last decade they certainly used their credit card (even if a few had not) so I get that they’re not fans of the update.General thoughts:
1) Anet is looking to please the crowd and not the small community that has been here for decades. Even the smaller community, that was here for decades but still haven’t enough ingame currency to spend 1750+ arms into a mini, will be glad to work on these quests if they’re interested in minis.
2) tradable limited minis will still hold value as their pool hasn’t reduced or grown (not like 7th birthday) and you can’t trade new ones. Maybe they will be a lot cheaper because there will be less buyers or scalpers. That’s why I talk about flexing because you can’t tell if it’s a tradable one or not in town but as a collector, you know that you have that limited miniature.
Best regards
never said i was not jusing all routes or options. if you want something you have to do what you need to do for it lol, like in reality.
Sure Methode depends on Personal preference. And i will never recommend anything i do or what works for me.
If you know the sites benefits you know there are some different Middelmann services you get there, so sometimes its wise to place a trade on there.
Noted that most of the stuff went for arms not cash if you would kindly track my legacy list aswell. And i did not sell stuff for financial support or benefits, in effect most trade where up trade for higher rarity and i still hold my high and petz.
