The method listed above is fairly quick (did it in 17 ingame hours). It's however painfully mind numbing to keep killing the two bandits over and over. My solution?
Load up on a TV series you can binge watch at the same time, keeps you sane

What do you need to know? The generally best way would be:
* Save as many quests as possible until level 16.
* Level up to ~8 by repeating Charr At the Gates, or perhaps by killing bandits.
* Level 8-10 is harder, easiest is to charr hunting with someone at a higher level.
* At level 10, do Vanguard Quests until the Father Hamnet quest.
* Take Father Hamnet quest and repeatedly kill the two bandits outside Foible's Fair.
* At lvl 16, accept as many quest rewards as possible as this is the hardest level to gain xp at.
* Once at 17, it's a quite smooth sail towards lvl 20.
* Consider staying at lvl 19 for a bit so you can use a vastly OP fire imp to farm charrs with.

So far they haven't randomized anything more than it's manageable. If however they do I can think of two solutions:
(Primary)
1. I could just write a script that gives all permutations using accent chars, generating a compliant ChatFilter.ini
(And if things still get unmanageable...)
2. We could ask SCW (if and when he have time), to make the filter handle accent chars as their unaccented ones.
Right now there are very few of them. Just looked around in AE Kama/LA/GToB/Embark, and I just saw a single one already in the filter.

Yes, it's certainly a possibility. This is my first event and I wanted it to remain unbiased. For judging the best talent I would prefer to have a panel of judges and that would complicate things. But there will be more events after this one, I have at least 50a more dedicated for contests and events.
I might even get some started before this one has ended, which is why I also wanted to hear great even ideas in this topic, next one will be something creative as well but where I will try base the prize on creativeness.
Edit: If a few more requests a divide then I will work something out. Probably 10-15a to the best screenshots. Non-participating Legacy members will then be welcome to help me judge
Rest will be divided randomly using /roll. -

As stated, I'm holding my first of many competitions here on Legacy. This one is simple:
🍪 How to join
1. Required: Take a great screenshot (GW1 only) using the new Advanced Graphics option and post it here.
2a. Optional: Write a traditional GW1-related Haiku (in 5+7+5 syllables).
2b. Optional: Give a suggestion in 20 words or less of a creative contest you'd like to see.
3. Pick a random number 1-100 for each task you completed above.

Can't think of a good haiku or event idea? No problem!
You can always come back and post it in later. Or just post 3 good screenshots instead
🍪 Rules
* There must be at least 1 screenshot included in a decent quality using the new Advanced Mode graphics settings.
* You may post as many times as you like.
* Max 3 numbers/contestant.
* Max 8 Armbraces/person (5 from the random list, 3 from the top list).
* I reserve the right to alter the rules a bit during the competition. Mostly for clarifications.
* I will only count unique rolls. If I roll the same number more than once, only the first one counts.
* The rules are somewhat relaxed, not going to penalize someone for missing a syllable in their haiku

* I will /roll 100 (preferably with a reliable witness) and screenshot it.
* All who picked the correct number will share 5 armbraces (rounding up when possible). Repeat until ~25 Armbraces have been distributed.

If I knew the code for displaying the forum thread I could probably help try figure it out.
But the current solution I had in mind would still be a bit flawed, it would only work if the last reply was on the same page, not if the original poster's page was on the previous page. -
It's not as simple as you state here, since we'd only have the check active in a single category - complicates it a little. But it's high on the list of priorities.

But I guess you could try do simple tests in the background, alter the theme or maybe the "REPLY" button color.
I guess it's easier to alter something than to create a whole new dialog warning. A red "REPLY" button would still help.
At 1st. maybe all users see the red button, but the original poster would know the consequences of using it

Yes, it's easy to try.
Just add the chatfilter.ini and have a friend try say something like:
"People using sites like mmosky.com will sooner or later get hacked."
It should filter out the entire message

But a sticky would be good where people can post new names missing from the filter. Especially since the RMTs recently seemed to learn of a similar feature in GWToolbox and now replace some vowels with ä, É and such.

Well, as I suggested the ChatFilter to SCW in the first place, I can tell you my intention. It was just an alternative to help filter the RMT spam you see.
My current file now:
