So here we are about a week or so in, inscriptions are dropping in value fast as are the q9 creme de la creme max dmg purps. Once the patched out golds being traded back and forth/nabbing them up to hold phase tapers down in frequency the question to me is simple: what do we farm for now? I've looked at a lot of communities and their discussions in order to gauge player reception. A lot of people are happy that prior max dmg/stat weapons are no longer worth anything. My opinion is that the destruction of prior value is of little importance. There is only the get exp incentive to play a lot of Pre-Searing left once the currently obtainable drops crater in value. To me, its post-ified and the only sensible step forward is adding extreme rarity max dmg insc weapons into pre so that a market akin to e-blades/froggies/bds etc in post comes about. Too late for any kind of roll-back on things and changes to decision (sucks because my opinion is leaving OS non max golds and taking out max dmg insc would have left a lot more longevity in Pre-Searing farming).

This is a dumb question, but if you have an item with a gold value; then remove a mod and place a new one on it: the gold value is not impacted correct? Just want to confirm.

Hello, we are an active guild currently working on coaching and forming a core of 8 regulars interested in at least 1-2 weekly AT's. Completely fresh to GvG is a-ok: we are having fun and learning the basics as a unit. It is a positive and chill team forming so far. If interested in pre-focused community we do that too, just right now GvG is a priority for us.

I hope someday to find and obtain a q8 60/-3 plagueborn shield. These two skins were my favorite of factions, the katana dropped for me when I was playing it. It was my favorite of the expansion packs/campaigns and part of the reason why even after years of breaks at a time I always return to Guild Wars 1 for one reason or another.This too, it is near and dear because it dropped in prophecies for me:

Yea just don't low ball yourself on this, auction it with modest s/b if you are going to sell. Also ty for the mod I think I bought from you the other day. Gl sell this. There isn't much to hoard bd for yet until they add something- aside from rare limited minipets in pre and the patched out golds/previously guild-halled in items.

Initial historical item collector value of these patched out golds seems to be around 150-250a minimum; Like Sasha said what really bumps up the value exponentially is the completely unobtainable mods (for pre). The shield, its nice but a shame it didn't give you the 45 value. I think a tengu mod one hit close to mid range xxxa.

unless this is you there is another one wts; all of these inscription weapons are going to be very hard sales at anything over 20bd (50-100bd for something rather rare like your staff) within a week or two. And will continue to drop further into single digits bd unless player-base completely craters and no one is doing the dungeon and opening the chest. -
It's great but prices are all over the place for the inscription weapons. I got a q9 max dmg fire wand for only 2bd, a q9 bone staff hsr 19% for 500g. Right now the most expensive inscription/mod seems to be forget me not 18%. The inscrip. weapons themselves have kind of been dropping rapidly although some were leaving hands very cheap from day one of the update. If we're getting 36/36 fire sets q9 put together/sold for under 100bd this is probably going to get 100-200bd+. If q8 20 HSR wasn't something patched out and still drops, its going to drop in value as time goes in. 4-5 Districts of AC and 2-4 of Piken: the markets are flooding with max damage/max inherent stat inscription weapons.

I am not sure if there is anything I would want that many arms for (regarding the charrslaying pommel) so I may hold onto it awhile, but i have received a serious offer of 400a on it as of now so idk
