Now this might sound harsh but if you think it is, please try to look for the deeper meaning behind my following statement : I do not believe in mental disorders like ADHD, depression, etc, the reason being that it would only take power away from me if I did believe them to exist, I’m not saying it’s not a thing, I’m just saying I refuse to believe in something that could open the door to excuses like « I am diagnosed of X so that’s why I struggle to do X » Having this belief system towards this subject is without a doubt a huge tool to manage my mental health and also what helped me achieve a balanced life, Now to be honest, I would probably learn more about myself and find spiritual solace talking to a tree in a forest for half an hour than to someone who might have a vested interest in me feeling a certain way.
The author of the subject has been diagnosed by professionals (hopefully competent ones, that's another subject...).
If you are diagnosed, avoiding telling yourself that you are diagnosed isn't going to help. On the other hand, you can disagree with a diagnosis and change doctors or do further research. At this level, it's understanding the disease that will help you, not avoiding a diagnosis.
I'm translating the text, so I may be mistaken about the meaning of what you said. But you can't tell someone who's been diagnosed that it doesn't matter and do without adhéquat treatment and believe they'll do better that way.
From your point of view, you didn't have a diagnosis (note, I'm not saying you needed one). If you don't suffer from a disorder, it's a question of motivation, of finding a balance in your life. On the other hand, if you have a real disorder(s), you can't necessarily get out of it with motivation.
That's what I tried to say in my previous post. Be careful when you talk about your own experience, if you haven't suffered from a disorder, and give advice to someone who has. Because you could lead them to believe that the only thing they lack is motivation. It's a big mistake not to make.
I knew this comment was coming, you were diagnosed and got better thanks to it and he got diagnosed and didn't.
Not once have I ever talked about motivation, it is a matter of discipline to change habits, motivation is temporary and fleeting, not saying it's easy of course it's extremely hard and uncomfortable but since the diagnosis didn't improve his situation what's left to do ?

Hey, I’ve read your opening post and the most recent one and decided to give you my opinion on the matter, out of empathy more than anything (which is ironic because empathetic was a very unfitting description of me like, say, 4 years ago)
It’s probably going to be quite lengthy but I’ll try my best to be concise, also whenever I would mean « You should » I’m gonna instead type « I would » in order to keep the pitchforks at bay.
There are lots of angles I could start my post so I will use one of the phrases you wrote : « I'm really trying to find balance in my life. »
I’m gonna assume this is the end goal and I believe I’ve achieved it for now, so the following will be what I would do if I were you given the little information I have about your situation.
I would still enjoy Guild Wars, and increase the joy and dopamine it gives me by having less of it, by actively reducing the gaming sessions and being more productive with my body and health (I remember learning that very young when my mom would take me out biking, I was never thrilled to go but the anticipation was building up and I would ride harder on the way back knowing that I could get my hands on Pokemon Stadium N64 once we got home)
I’m still that same boy but as an adult I realized I had to impose certain rules on myself to help build discipline, form healthy habits and the rewards would only be sweeter !

You also mentioned in your original post : « I have not exercised for ages and have become frail physically. » I believe the easiest path to living a balanced life is a healthy mind in a healthy body (cliché but for good reason)
I would partake in regular (almost daily) physical activity because it is by far the easiest way to control your mental state, and of course physical but the mental aspect of physical activity is criminally underrated.
Obviously the lowest barrier to entry is running, which is what I started with for some years, then learned about nutrition, eventually muscle hypertrophy and strength and ended up grabbing the bull by the horn as I stepped into a gym and now that story has gone on for almost four years, it was an extremely daunting and humbling experience doing that alone and being clueless but by far the best decision that saved my life from spiraling out of control.
That’s all I have on my mind at the moment, I pray you find the balance you need and would gladly chat anytime !

As someone who also has farmed the NM version in HM, when you go back to it the dialogue starts around "Your anger betrays you..."
Not sure what the HM quest looks like though.
I takes me on average 1:30 to go through the dialogue and kill the 1st mobs

Frankly, I don't understand why this needs to be discussed or why you two are so confidently wrong about this.
Reminds me of that random in Kama yesterday who tried to give me a long ass lecture about "overcharging" for sunspear and kept yapping, writing a longass novel without me ever replying and then when he realized it's the new skin and not suntouched/sunburst spear (he kept reiterating Sunspear q9 is only worth 5-20e) and then put my on ignore before i could ever respond :D.
Like it's just a fact that you only need to do the 17 pre quests in nm and turn on hm (which obviously requires having done Shiro in nm at least once on said account) when you want to farm it, could literally prove it right now if you want to bet on it.
If I would invest my precious time in discussing with people who are wrong, I wouldnt do anything else anymore.
Some are just lost cases who should put their own egos aside and confess that they have no clue what they are talking about. Would also save themselves time.
Hey, lost case here, I believe i wrote "(atleast that's what I recall)" in my original answer, and me writing "The HM quest doesn't allow you to enter it in NM so why would the NM quest allow you to enter in HM ?" was actually a genuine question
I shall confess once again that I'm not 100% confident in my answer and instead of putting my ego to the side I'll chuck it in the bin

You can just have the NM version of the quest and turn on HM and it’s all the same^^
The HM quest doesn't allow you to enter it in NM so why would the NM quest allow you to enter in HM ?

Peter Kadar has a great video on it on YouTube, it's also called Ministerial Commendations farm, very long questline but also very worth it, doable with more or less difficulty with every prof (I run it as Necro)
Do you need to complete the WoC HM questline as well to do the Chance Encounter in HM?
Nope you just need to reach the point where you can do it in NM, finish it and then unlock the HM version and obviously never take the reward
(Atleast that's what I recall)
Edit : I misunderstood your post I think, you need to complete the WoC HM questline as you go on to unlock each HM quest so therefore the answer to your question is yes -
My feeling is that the droprate of golds tanked due to the amount of confetti and other crap that drops currently but that's probably my brain on copium talking

Hard to say since before anni the price got manipulated quite a bit. I would guess around 100-150a +/-
Post anni is probably one of the worst timings to sell it aswell so prices will probably ramp up

20-25a according to kam logs usually pretty reliable for minis

+5 SR wand is currently 50e-3a so I can't imagine +4 being worth all that much especially since the prices will go down or stabilize at best

Would really love to know where the Glacial Blade is hiding out at.
At this point it is most likely an error and the weapon wasn't correctly added into the game, if it was a Silver Vaettir situation we wouldn't have heard of it in the patch notes but that's just my guess

Probably not tho. It seemed to only drop in War & Para's primary attribute.
If we had seen atleast one of the 3 you mentionned then sure, but there already seems to be a visible pattern from the 10 or so that have dropped so far.I said that having seen only 2 drops, if you saw around 10 then that's alot more conclusive indeed

Correct me if I'm wrong but Bone Idol drops in all necro attributes while Chimeric Prism drops in all main attributes ?
Edit : Bone idole drops in all necro attributes and Chimeric Prism drops in ALL caster attributes according to OP (I also talked to a guy in Kamadan who wanted to buy an expertise Chimeric Prism and guaranteed me it exists, his source was : trust me bro the original item had expertise as a req so that one must have it too)

And now I regret it, simply for the fact that I shouldve just held onto it because of how hard to get it is... oh well. I will get another

I like to share a little observation.
After about 2k chest in Ice Dome post the anniversary update, i have gotten all the new skins available in Tyria except for the new shield or hammer skins.
Prior to the update, I ran about 20k+ chest in Ice Dome and I have never gotten shield skins other than the summit shields (SSS and SWS), and for hammer I have only gotten Summit Hammer and Giant Slayer hammer. This is also true for axe skin as I have only gotten Summit Axe in Ice Dome.
This leads me to conclude that this game has a hard code drop table for Stone Summit enemies (maybe only in Southern Shiverpeak area) for shields, axe and hammer, and this applies to the new anniversary skins as well. So if you are hunting for the new anniversary shield or hammer skins, Ice dome is prob not the place you should farm as it only contains Stone Summit mobs.
i welcome other Ice Dome chest runners to confirm this theory.
i'm gathering data from tasca at the moment and haven't seen any new shield / hammer either but my sample size is too small just yet
