I know people that ran 100000 chests with q8 possibility without ever getting a sword. and you get two gold ones within 2 weeks? say the rate were 1 in 100000 and you'd chestrun with 8 accs continously between those two. you would still be a little short statistically! that's how lucky that is. fuck.

since reforged the site has been feeling slower / less responsive. is that because of servers or just more people being on here?

I do not understand Anet saying they respect their long term players and then screwing them over again.
Yes, I am still salty that they took the title only about 100 of us bothered to get and made it thousand times easier with no recognition for those that did it the hard way.
Now they make changes but those of us who have been in Pre for 20 years arn't included!
What's the point of a game that is too easy or where your achievements are devalued regularly?

anet could have just given all players that did it after the easy mode update the title "Defender of Ascalon" and omit the "Legendary" part. and then make these 2 distinct titles that still count the same in the HoM. all the trivializations of titles were just to make them easier to get for the HoM and indirectly for GW2 players anyway (the big running theme).
hell, given their most recent 'hardcore' tendencies with the Dhuum mode, couldn't anet just introduce a distinction between casual presearing lvl 20 as it is now, and an oldschool mode that requires deathleveling again? the only downside is that by now out of the existing lvl20s they probably cant tell apart who did it which way, so the OGs are still screwed over

it isnt max dmg and lacks both inherent mods, so it is a bit of a niche collectors piece. but it is a factions skin which makes it more valuable and the numbers look kinda nice.
as such its hard to tell how much this could fetch, you should auction it to find out and wait for more pcs. my very rough estimate is 2 digit armbrace range, but theres a lot of range there

I hope they open Piken Square up in presearing to existing characters. The new Piken outpost in presearing is in an ideal location to run outside and immediately begin killing in the northlands... would really prefer for my existing characters in pre to be able to access that. I don't see a great reason to make it exclusive to the new "reforged" characters. "reforged characters" getting more xp and gold, against foes that have lower hp and armor (again, for "reforged" characters only), also seems like a dumb idea. Pre is already a breeze if you don't pull too large of a group at once. In addition, the 4 player party mode makes it even easier. I'm confused by the thought process here, even though updates are exciting and show continued dedication to the classic GW1 servers.
i find that making the game easier (presumably for the GW2 crowd) has been THE theme in recent years. busted pve elite skills, the pve only +5 attribute weapon upgrades... this reforged mode just fits right in line
