I think some patience is in order - nobody drops the biggest update of their life on december 18th knowing full well they are out of the office for the next two weeks

My guess is that when those features come out of alpha/beta, they'll either make the changes to the core Prophecies campaign, or allow you to toggle between one or the other. Would make a lot of sense to me, at least.

Ectoes are a high end crafting material mainly used to craft Fissure of Woe armors and Chaos Gloves, and is generally accepted as a form of currency

Arms are also accepted as a form of currency (1a ~30e roughly nowaday), they are traded for Tormented weapons at an NPC at the end of Nightfall
