ArenaNet has suprised us with a promotion on the original Guild Wars games, where the game is 50% off until the 9th of July!
You can grab that discount both from the official store as well as Steam.
We have seen a few such discounts over the last few months, even though it has been years without promotions for Guild Wars before that. New this time, however, is that the in game account upgrades are also on sale now:
- Extra Character Slot—20% Off
- Character Name Change—20% Off
- Xunlai Storage Pane—50% Off
- Xunlai Material Storage Expansion—50% Off
- Mercenary Hero Slot—40% Off
- Mercenary Hero Slot Three Pack—40% Off
- Mercenary Hero Complete Pack—37.5% Off
This is probably the first time in a very long while that these have been available with a discount, so we suggest you to take advantage of this if you wanted them.
These upgrades are only available on the official store.
Most of these can only be bought once per order, but you can do multiple orders without issues.

Hello, I'm Iaerah (formerly known as Kevin - which is my real name), the Guild Wars Legacy admin.
The reason why I switched my name to Iaerah is mainly because Kevin is so generic, and if I ever want an NPC named after me in game, I'll need a more creative name 
Joking aside, Iaerah is also my main in Guild Wars 2 (I know, I know, shoot me - but I enjoy both games. Just don't see GW2 as the sequel to GW1).
I'm not only the Guild Wars Legacy administrator but also the founder of it, together with some other great people like Richey (who runs the Guild Wars: A New Hope Facebook group) and Max Borken. I'm quite easy to contact and generally spoken I reply quite quickly, but I have a tendency to read my notifications and forgetting to respond. If that happens, feel free to send me a reminder.
