Go back to ur childhood and forget everthing and relive (from like 5 on.) or go back and remember 3memories randomly chosen but you have no idea there it's.(could be ur worst fear or winning lottery numbers)

neither choice is good (reliving 40+ years....not my idea of a good life).....but some information is better than none--so 3 random memories.

played saxophone in high school and contra bass clarinet in college (hubby plays tuba) ....sat in front of the trumpet section in high school and think I have some permanent tinnitus because of one of the players (believe he had a crush on me, and what better way to show it than seeing how loudly he could play in my ear?)....so winds please (though since there was very little music written for the contra bass, I did play a lot of tuba music and was usually considered a member of the tuba section  )

strings (violin, viola, etc) or percussion (dated the bass drum player for a while...)?

now that really depends on what instrument the soloist is....but there are some really good brass groups out there (canadian brass, empire brass, even a russian brass group....not to mention plenty of good string quintet music) so going with quintet.

well, the college I went to won every home football game usually with a score of something like 70-0..so playing the fight song (which I could probably STILL do 30 years later) daily for 8 months was the norm (was sooo happy when basketball was over with)...so would rather learn new stuff.

well, since they have been 'remaking' so many of the classics (and some not so classic---) will go with totally new.
(I dont go often either, there are few movies that I need to see when they come out, usually wait until they are on cable--non xtra pay channels).
