LDOA and a little mistake I made accepting some quests

  • Hi community,

I started few days ago a new char in Eden. I went through my journey and already accepted some quests, not a lot, but I'd say at least 3k exp worth of quests.

My question is, would it be ok for me to continue on this char to reach LDOA, knowing it will take a bit longer, or should I absolutely restart the new char?

I'm asking because I already spent some cash on this char (full armor including head piece and char bags and armor bags and few Black Dye)

    Thanks a lot

  • That amount of xp is only a few days of the Vanguard quests (doing 1 a day) or if you're doing the one foe kill hamnet vanguard quest farm outside foibles its maybe a couple hours tops.

    Not worth rerolling over imo

  • The sum total of all the Pre-Searing quests don't ultimately add up to much. From a meta perspective, it is recommended that you save the quests until you grind out to level 16 iirc because the quests then help you over the hump to level 17 which starts the highest tier of the mobs for the Vanguard daily quests. I initially though of grinding out to level 19, then using the quests to hit level 20, but they don't give enough XP for that.

So, at the end of the day, just do what you feel like doing. I've just been grinding mobs and the Northlands with the Vanguard quests active without doing any of the the regular Pre-Searing quests. But it does get dicey and difficult without having any skills to use, even with the Imp to help. My recommendation would be to do just the skill gathering quests, to make the mob grinding easier and save the rest for later.
