Anyone had any luck with this run in HM or NM. I've been runing HM for Magmas Shield for days now i had only 1 drop in q12. Is this still viable way to get Magmas or am I doing it wrong, or just bad luck?

Still viable, if you were getting good Magma's in just two or three days of trying they wouldn't be worth much

Since there is no way to get GOLD Magmas shields as a q8 drop anymore, I believe HM would be your best bet to get gold ones. Also more golds drop in HM as opposed to NM.

I can confirm Magmas Shields will drop q8 white in normal mode Hells Precipice, as I personally had a Q8 STR AR16 white Magmas Shield drop from a foe in the middle of the mission. I don't believe chest have any q8 magmas chances at all. I don't know the rules for white vs blue drops, but I can 100% confirm that around 2015 a white q8 ar16 dropped in NM, which has left me suspecting possibly that q8 blue could drop. Traded the shield away years ago, and often regret it not being in my collection.
Any fellow nerds want to provide insight as to whether something can drop in white or blue based off what rules? I know beyond doubt white q8 is possible, which suggest if there's no difference between white/blue dropping, then there is a possibility q8 magmas shield is possible with mods.
