You can make the same post in a PM, which is all the rule asks. There's no difference between a conversation and a thread, except posting non-bids in a selling thread unnecessarily bumps the post.

That's your opinion.
He can literally PM both of you and say the same thing without bumping which is just as effective.
I'm just going to let bsoltan handle this when he's in your screenshot.

50-150 daily active users, that's kind of less an opinion more-so a fact, but again ok.

When you signed up and made an account, you accepted the rules and conditions of the forum. I understand you're frustrated at the situation, but they've been around for years and have worked for the vast majority of users.
If you still think he was wrong, please DM him.
