Looking for my old ARKANGELS / Seekers of Valor fam (2007–2009)
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping this community can help me track down some people who meant a lot to me a long time ago. From 2007 to 2009 I was in Seekers of Valor [SoV], one of the guilds inside the ARKANGELS [ARK] alliance, and I've been quietly looking for them ever since I came back to Guild Wars.
I was like 8-9 years old back then running around in a guild full of adults. Looking back, I don't know how patient you all had to be with me, but you were. SoV and the wider ARK alliance basically taught me how to play the game, how to be part of a team, and how to behave in an online community. It shaped a lot of who I am.
A couple of specific memories I still carry around:
- Dark Skeeve, our SoV leader, would drop whatever he was doing to help me through quests and missions and pull the whole guild along with him
- Zapra De Oro, the head of the entire alliance, looked out for little dumb 8-year-old me like a mom, patiently walking me through stuff I didn't understand about the game (and probably about being online at all).
It was a very kind & generous group of people, and I'd love to know they're all doing well

I added all of these names on GW1 when I came back but I haven't seen any of them log in for 5+ years since I've returned to the game. The community is small enough now that I figured a post here might find someone who still remembers, or, even better, someone who's still in contact with one of them.
I'm not trying to pull anyone back into the game or anything like that. I just want to know everyone's healthy and happy, and to say thank you to a group of strangers who were really kind to a little kid once.
