Xunlai Exchange - Market Intelligence

  • Announcing Xunlai Exchange

We’re pleased to introduce Xunlai Exchange, a Discord-native Guild Wars trading and market-intelligence platform powered by Xanthe.

Xanthe observes real trade advertisements broadcasted by players inside Guild Wars, converts them into structured listings and makes the market searchable through Discord.

With Xunlai Exchange, players will be able to:

    • Follow live Kamadan trading activity through Discord
    • Search observed WTB, WTS and trade advertisements
    • Find buyers, sellers and individual traders
    • Review recent and historical asking prices
    • View the original message behind every parsed result
    • Copy a ready-made in-game whisper to contact the advertiser
    • Create /watch alerts for matching advertisements
    • Monitor the market without standing in Kamadan or running Toolbox locally

    Built from real in-game advertisements

Guild Wars trade chat is rarely tidy. A single message might contain several items, abbreviated names, different currencies and multiple prices.

Xanthe turns those messages into structured data while retaining the original advertisement for transparency. It also records when an advertisement was first and last observed, how frequently it was repeated and which character posted it.

This gives players a searchable view of genuine market activity rather than requiring every trader to create and maintain another shop manually.

How does it differ from GWMarket?

GWMarket and Xunlai Exchange overlap in areas such as searchable listings, buyer and seller discovery, and pricing information, but they gather their data differently:

    • GWMarket: player-submitted shops and orders
    • Xunlai Exchange: observed in-game advertisements and market activity

GWMarket provides a marketplace where players intentionally create and maintain listings. Xunlai Exchange‘s approach is from the other direction by capturing advertisements already being broadcasted inside Guild Wars. The two platforms can therefore serve different, complementary purposes.

    Looking ahead

We would eventually like to work with projects such as GWToolbox++ or Daybreak to verify in-game characters against Discord accounts. This could allow advertisements posted in Kamadan to update a player’s shop automatically, without requiring them to maintain the same listings twice.

Xunlai Exchange brings real Guild Wars trading activity into Discord—structuring live advertisements, tracking market data and connecting players with matching buyers and sellers.
