Hello!
Both times I have loaded up GW recently I have had about a 5 minute wait due to the start up showing "Repairing Data Archive". Anyone else experiencing this or is it to do with my terrible computer?
Thanks!

look at https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments
Perhaps the -repair command line argument can help (assuming it was an online install, not from disks)
Thanks for the direction Looney. I'll see if the problem persists and I'm tempted to do a full reinstall of the game anyway as my computer needs a good tidy up! It's just finding the time to do it all!
I use keep a second shortcut with the -repair thing and its helped a few times.
I maybe should have mentioned... if you add -repair to your main gw shortcut you use to login it will now just check the dat and try to fix errors and quit. Make a seperate shortcut to gw.exe as the target then add -repair after the " and label it 'GW-Repair' or something.
If you added -repair to your regular gw shortcut and gw won't run just delete -repair it will login like normal again.
Yeah I did read that on the wiki page.
I guess a full reinstall may solve the issue as well.
Thanks for the help!
