This is a new issue after a large windows 10 update that's made it so whenever I map to other outposts or change zones, the game minimizes to the task bar for roughly 6 seconds showing my wallpaper every time.
Previous to the update, zone and outpost loading was almost instant with zero minimizing. Has anyone else experiences anything like this before?

Just out of curiosity, was it after a windows 10 update? Specifically 1083? This is the one that did it for me and it caused a few other problems as well.
Had the same problem, fixed it by just setting the game on "Windowed Fullscreen" at the drop-down list under Options - Graphics - Resolution. This is also optimal as it lets u alt-tab in and out of the game seamlessly. Hope it helps.
