Perhaps it's something unique to players who have the ability to put Asian language characters in names. Any ideas?
Apparently it's possible to put numbers in character names?

Probably because the Chinese character set contains numbers that are different to the English character set, and are thus not filtered by the game"

I know you can do it with Korean accounts, I have seen people offering Korean guild making services for the same effect in guild names.

bought my xiaomi in china, they got this button to change language (i guess lol)
so this is some screenshot from the button.
it must be the same with their keyboard option, and probably guildwars didnt detect it as number but as language..
