Has anyone else noticed that you can sometimes get unexpectedly small amounts of salvaged materials from items?
Example from a gold max shield recently (chat does not show item rarity in these cases):
Or was I just ridiculously unobservant for the past thirteen years?

I've seen low amounts from items before but, it's rare. (At least I've only noticed it rarely.)
As I recall, I've gotten at least 2 to 4 materials a very few times over the years.
The only exception was way back before a patch was added to fix an issue; Ecto could be salvaged for a Pile of Dust. (There was a slight bit of lag while salvaging one dark day. Oh the horrible memories that have scarred me for life.)
irri, dia, amber aegis salv to 1-2 dust
Certain grim cestas (one skin) and talon daggers are 1-3 bones
there's certain items that just have crappy salvage yields

This happens with all of the Gem possible salvage items. Diamond Aegis, Irri, Ruby daggers/maul, Amethyst aegis etc. It's annoying for sure. Either it's a gem or it's poopies.
