How could it be anything else than this? I am certain there are more expensive or rarer items in my collection, however this is what embodies my years as a collector. These years have not only been marked by attribute shields, collecting them, other stuff, random bits and pieces of Guild Wars history and completing those collections, but also by the friends I made along the way. I have met so many people from the collectors community, almost all of them generous, helpful and kind. I truly wish all of us got along a bit better, but alas.
One person holds a special place in my heart. I'd like to believe he saw in me what I was trying to do. He knew of course I wanted this shield, because I had been practicly begging him for days if not weeks to sell it to me, after I'd seen it. In the end he didn't decide to take my amrbraces, but to gift it to me. This person is of course no other than: Rice. The one who gifted my this piece of Eternal awesomeness, the true embodiement of my hunt for those shields with that little extra attribute boost.
Since I acquired GWAMM on my Monk, I've played her less and less, but I do pop in once every few days just to check on this shield. It's just so nice to look at this kind of stuff, isn't it?
