As I have already said, obtaining r15 is not the same as it used to be. However there are still ways to obtain it legitimately, rather than cheating.So it’s reasonable that noobs like you can farm a title in a dead game even though their skill ceiling is below that of a no rank pug team from 2010 ? While it’s unreasonable that someone farms your ass with an alt ?

Of course the way that fame is legitimately obtained nowadays is different from back in the game's prime, because it is far less active. But that doesn't preclude one from being able to obtain it legitimately, and hence deservedly.
I’m not delulu, you are. What you mean legitimately ? All you do is at best fight once in halls, rest is you fighting bots. They should have disabled its acquisition so even a Bambi would be something. So no, you farming bot is not more legitimate that someone ganking you with their alt.
But please keep thinking that you are hard earning your title when all you do to hold hall is to sit and afk while getting floored when someone introduces a bit of challenge😂

I chose today to finish off my 40th max title and managed to piss off the right number of people along the way.
Guess it's just a shame that you had to cheat and bot to get it, either because you're trash at the game or are too lazy. You never properly earned your title.
You held Halls last night by ganking on real teams with your botted alt account and had the brazen audacity to admit it (picture as proof below), and then flaming on the people who were rightly disappointed in your cheating. How embarrassing for you. You're the scourge of PvP. And you were stupid enough to post it here so as to be publicly outed. gg. Now everyone can see you're a cheat, a botter, and just down-right nasty.
I'm guessing you botted to get all of your collections too? Sad. Some of us still play this game genuinely. Others like you just work to ruin the experience.
What does it matter that they’re 16v8 or 8v8 ? Good players would roll on them still. You can just assume both teams are equally as bad in a 20y old game🫣. So you getting fames is the same as him, equally undeserved 🫠.
Really love the frustration and double standards of so called pvp players. When most of them don’t even have a glad title above 3 or a legitimate skill title above 1.. -

Does it affect northland in presearing ? When I do first two runs in a day I can get 2/3 purples. Subsequent ones yield nothing..
(Not empirical observation, I did this maybe 5 days or so)

Your title is Economy Discussion and then your question is "Is Guild Wars going to die soon? Legacy is like dead comparing to last year." That seems like two separate topics, or maybe even three.
1. This is what happens to the economy because of botting and real money traders. Most people are okay with it. It's the reality we live in and must learn how to adapt to it or quit the game (or at least that economical aspect of the game - it's perfectly fine to play the game without participating in the high-end economy). Adapting to it doesn't necessarily mean joining them, but watching price trends and making good long-term decisions. Even then, it's impossible to keep up with what the bots and real money traders are able to do, but as I said it's the game we now live in, and as long as people are willing to buy items from botters for real money, that aspect of the economy will thrive.
2. We don't know the answer to if Guild Wars is going to die. Everquest just passed it's 25th year anniversary this year. I believe as long as the servers are up Guild Wars may make it to 25 years. At some point the game will become obsolete, but we don't know that date.
3. Legacy seems more inactive and I think that may be because a lot of people are now moving to Reddit and Discord servers to chat about the game and make sales and trades. Also there is a black market forum that people seem active on but I don't participate in that forum or even watch it - but I hear a lot of people mention it.
Dunno for others but I’m inactive in this forum because it’s just a full panel of botted items, nothing interesting overall. If something out of the box comes in, credit card or bots take the items away with their limitless resources.

I absolutely still care, but the same points still apply and are very hard to tackle for us, unfortunately.
How can we know that something is botted and how can we know that something is not botted? How can we be certain?
The issue lies that if we are going to police this, we would need to have solid evidence of it, which is hard to collect for us since we do not have the in game logs or information. In GW2, you'd be able to walk around and see the bots, but in this game it's impossible to do so.
ArenaNet is in fact the one that should be policing this, not us. They aren't, and that forces us in an uncomfortable position: how can we be certain if something is gained from botting or not? What proof/evidence do we have?
If someone bots on Twitch and we see those identically same items listed for sale here, that is indeed solid proof. But if someone that we ban as a cheater comes to me and requests me the proof on which grounds the ban has been given, I need to be able to provide that.
It's like instead of calling the police and deal with issues, taking justice in our own hands. And that just never ends well.
