Retract for now. Other q8's have caught interest.

Pre Mini Oni

Bump, added some 20/20 os Staves.

I would bid on it. It's a perfect dual modded q7; definitely going to see at least xx arms. Pretty hard to put a set price on these items nowadays, as it depends on the bid wars of collectors. Best bet is to post in sale thread and see how it goes.

Completely egotistical and warped. That abject overwhelming egocentricity and self-declared power over the history of the game is the objectionable matter.
The stuff about having the best r7 15>50 collection is more delusion than debate, so I'll let the picture I posted do the talking.
Here I am to speak what I know.
Perhaps some of you have been waiting.
But men have lost their reason.
The obligation of a real collector is to preserve, protect and remember.
Oh, gimme a break. Get over yourself. I'll take mine over yours any day
How does one live with their head so far up their own ass? I find it hilarious that you even use the word "egotistical" to describe others actions, given the way you talk lol.
Anyway, here's a couple q7 from a peasant.

I'm not saying that it's impossible for it to go more to the right, as mentioned above, but High End Minis and Tonics are some of the hardest sales in pre. Taking your time could honestly mean "try selling for a year or 2".
From my experience, most will try to offer you post arms, as it's pretty hard to get a hold of somebody with that amount of black dye on hand, who doesn't already have or is trying to sell that mini to begin with.
-
I'd like to think that the single mod gold q8 could bring more than 10e, but Chevy is spot on with how difficult they are to sell. As rare as the q8 drops are, single mod q8 offhands seem to be the most common, and shitty dual mod q8 offhands can be difficult sales... yet alone a single mod one.

I agree with Red, though I'd say 50e range would be low end. With that said, 75-100e is probably going to take a while to sell unless you run into a collector missing that piece.
25e seems really low to me, even for the unwanted inscrip collections.
-
Agree with the 10-15e'ish range.
Personally, I'd recommend collecting/saving all perfect q9 skins; won't always be worth a lot but people collect them and they can be easy sales for that low 5-15e'ish range.

Do the "Elitist PvPers" not let you join their group? As to Jokers point, there are few real 8v8's (and by far fewer 8v8v8's) at Halls nowadays. Even playing backline roles, you really don't have to be that good to play in today's matches... if we're to be honest. Most of the true "Elitist" have moved on to new games because of how small the PvP community has become in GW.; there's no longer challenge.
I wouldn't advertise yourself as a newb to PvP to the guild either, if that's what you're doing as well (in hopes to learn). Cause that'll prolly make them always pick their go to team members, rather than wanting to "waste their time" on teaching somebody new.
I'd watch a couple of halls matches, specifically the class you're enjoying the most, and see how and what the regulars are currently playing. Or ask your guild what class they're usually needing a random pug to play, if they don't already have a steady 8man team. If you're able to find a current GvG guild, they tend to be pretty open with returning players. As long as you can dedicate time to playing GvG's for the monthly, you'll usually have a spot in the guilds steady PvP team. And they tend to do HA regularly on their off time.
I may be able to invite you to a steady top GvG guild alliance. I know they're pretty consistent with the monthly's, and do a bit of HA. Though I've yet to play with most of them; one of my storage accounts is holding a spot for my main.

5a q8 comp bow

That hex mod is max prenerf I believe. So of course it's gonna receive higher offer and attention than the 14^50 (imo at least).
I wouldn't be too surprised if you saw more than 10a on this though. Personally, it'd take more than 10a for me to sell this if it were mine. I'd push for 15-20a based on what other chaos axe have sold for. Though, don't expect for fast sales if you push; 1offs can really be a bitch to sell as everybody's mentioned. That's why a few collectors post them in sets to try to sell altogether
-
I've personally gotten more SWS on my chest runs than I have SSS. I'd push for more than 2a. But maybe there's not as much interest- throw it on a sale post and see what happens at the s/b 125e
-
I've sold similar mod shields (and same skin shield) for the 35-40e range. Though, they can take some time. Agree with everything else.
-
As hgt said, if you're extremely patient you can get 50-100e, but you'd be targeting the people who use them on bots and/or alts for codex runs. If they're in need, they won't care about spending the high end.
Realistically, I'd settle for the 20-30range
-
-
I couldn't begin to think of an accurate PC on this. Q8 and almost perfect is gonna bring out the heavy bidders for this high demand skin. Almost wanna say start it at 100a and see what happens lol.
-
As said above, the only real players you'll encounter (most of the time) will be at Halls. Killing the bots with the hench is super easy, especially if you play mes or ele. Once at halls though, if you're playing against the holding time while most of their players are still active, and not taking afk breaks, then you'll get destroyed with that mes/ele +7hench build.
With that said, it's still easy to get in a full team, and most people aren't as good as the ole days; you just have to be in the int districts on the active times. I'd recommend looking to join a guild that does HA regularly if that's what you're trying to get into while your back in gw.
-
lol nobody is selling this for 400e.
40-50a+ sounds right.
As to advice on price check threads, don't take the word of somebody who keeps posting for PC's on every single q8 they have. Obviously they've no idea what they're talking about.
-
-
Agree with above. Q10's prolly gonna be hard sale imo
-
I've seen people "try" to sell these for that 50-100e range in Kama, but I highly doubt they've had any success. I've had trouble selling these for 15-25e, as they're common drops in chest runs and farms.
-
There's honestly no point to post PC for these items. They're worth a fuck ton. People are always trying to buy ig, in hopes they find somebody not knowing what they're worth.
You'll have to post a sale thread and see where the bids take you. I wouldn't say there's a set price for either, because it's going to depend on bidders interest (which there will be a lot) but also on the amount you wanna settle for (which can take quite some time, unless somebody with that amount of ig cash doesn't already have one). I think both are xxxxarms each.
Doing a basic search in this forum shows you the price...so I'll leave that to you.
-
5-10a sounds about right.
Though, it will depend on finding buyers and how long you're looking to sell tbh. This mod on these q8 skins seem to draw bids of 2-3a maybe hitting 4-5a if another bids against or if the R/B is posted as something near that, and then seem to stop until the people who like to collect these fun mods come to bid on the item (if we don't already have the skin). That seems to be the only time these types of items see the 5-10a+ range. Though, the FDS may pull some attention for being an FDS.
Best way is to post in sale and start it at 2-5a for each to see the bids build. I'd personally start bids at 5a if you're okay with potentially waiting a bit to sell for that 5-10a range.

So.. was looking for some q9's that a buddy was missing in their collection, and we stumbled across this hammer I have. After a quick search on guild wiki... it looks like this skin may be prenerf/no longer drop, and kinda sounds quite rare (Since neither of us have seen another one, and we both have quite a collection of items)
So, behold this beauty, and feel free to give an opinion of a price for it. Since it is a q9 and perfect in my eyes (I collect naked q8s+), I'll never sell it. But, I enjoy having a sense of value on my collections.
*edit: The only evidence I've read of this still dropping, was from a guild wiki discussion page, where only 1 user made a comment saying that these skins only drop in Pre/Post Ascalon, Maguuma Jungle, and the Crystal Desert. This was a comment from 2011 I believe, and nobody else made another comment about it before/since, on the wiki discussion at least.*
Regards,
Shaggy

Bump q8 Eternal Shield has been taken off the thread. The item will be reserved for Chevy (I'll pm ig since you're already on friends list)

Yeah, but that defeats the entire purpose of having a "trade feedback score." Like why the hell is there a design to keep track of how many "likes" each user has? Why didn't you guys just design that to be the trade feed back? Honestly though...that could have been a simple button added on the users profiles (like the pre searing forums) where another user would actually have to view the persons profile, and click the +/-1 karma(trade feedback) button, maybe get a pop up for comments, then click submit to have that Users trade feedback increase or decrease. Whats the point of keeping track of how many times a user has "liked" your post? Is that even useful information to collect? It kind of seems like it was wasted work to help give "points" and possibly "trophies" to a user after they've gotten so many "likes" and have made so many "posts". But who really pays attention to that stuff, except for the mods that may have designed it? Like, I can get keeping track of the post counts, cause you guys could probably mine the data to see which forum threads are most active, if you're trying to pump up numbers (trying to increase activity throughout all parts of the forum, rather than just the most active parts).
You can just say "were not wanting to put in the effort for that type of expansion", rather than dancing around the topic.
You know how inefficient it is for somebody to have to search through all of the threads a user has made, and then scan through the entire comments to find that "feedback" you're speaking of? I don't mind doing this when I'm searching for specific q8's and what they were sold for on this site, when I'm trying to bid or buy a q8 in game. But this was more of a suggestion for more efficient trading systems.
Not everybody just uses a "single" thread for "ALL" of their sales/buys. I tend to close mine out to remake new ones. I hate bidding on somebody elses thread if they've just carried it over for months(years)..especially if they're not the best with updating their C/O's. I give up on bidding on some items that I only have a little interest in, just because I'm too lazy to scan through 10pages to find the last offer on the item I was going to bid on.
Also, this feedback you're speaking of would only be done if the user decided to edit their comment. I'm gonna go ahead and reference Your own rules here.... "Post a Bid or do not post." Yet, you just told me and any user who happens to read this thread to go ahead and break this rule, eh? I only see the feedback rule listed for the "Services Offer" or "services Requested" threads... none of which are used as much as the "sell" threads.

Last bump for the q8 Eternal shield

I guess. Take a look at the Presearing forums...nobody on that forum seems to abuse it, and it surely looks like they just designed it the easy way (ignoring everything you brought up). Looks like they just added a new tab/section on the profile pages of users, to include a +karma for trade feedback. It looks like the only "Business Rules" are that you have to be a member, and that you can't give yourself feedback. That would make the design/development a lot easier than what you're talking about(making it only accessible via completion of scheduled trade for best accuracy).
Contesting feedback can be as simple as taking some screenshots and sending it to a Mod via PM on this site. "Hey, this person gave me feedback, but here's a screenshot of my conversation log and sale thread showing that we've never traded with each other." To make the work load less on the mods, if a lot of people were to contest feedback, include a new Rule Set stating that mods can temporary ban your account for a week(s) if you abuse this system/waste their time with investigative work. Or maybe... this user gets a temporary ban on the ability to create any threads in the sell/buy sections (Create a new access role that allows for READ only, instead of READ/Write, if a read only role doesn't already exist). People with multiple accounts wouldn't want to waste their own time, by giving their account a temporary ban on being able to post sales (since this site is the current best site for GW1 In game auctions). If a User was planning to just create multiple accounts to abuse this feedback of a particular user, or particular guild (since there seems to be some beef come up in threads), then it could be pretty easy to track the newly created accounts to the IP address, or no? I mean, that sounds like a basic Google Analytics report, which is free to use.
But yes, if the idea would be to design this with the best accuracy, then the development work could take quite a bit of time, since this new feature would require communication between the users trade; thus a redesign of how the Sale/Buy Threads currently work. There'd have to be a workflow created that would allow "Trade In progress...Reserved Bid Hit...Planning to Sell in 48hours....Successfully Sold OR Buyer/Seller backed out (IF successfully sold then allow for Trade Feedback).

If you can get 20-25a for that hammer then sell asap. Somebody has a q8 15^50 listed with a r/b of 15a listed in sale thread since beg of July. Still hasn't sold.
Those daggers on the other hand...it looks like a 15^50 q8 is about to sell for 31-32a. So, a 14^50 should easily see more than 5arms. There's probably a collector for that skin, that wouldn't mind having a set of ^50 mods.
-
If that dmg is post nerf max for q7, then I'd think it could see 100-200e range, possibly more if multiple interests. Probably gonna be a tough sale though.
If that dmg is 1-2off post nerf max, then it will be a challenge to sell for even 50e. I'd have to double check the dmg.
