Thanks for your contribution. I started the game right before the first wintersday event in 2005 I think, so it'd be great if someone had pictures from that time. At this time, the UI still had the old, greyish layout.

The quest to find an inscribable shield that doesn't clip with the Dragon Gauntlets!
Most shields clip at the knuckles and/or on the spikes.
I've tested every shield that comes in Command & Tactics, except for Vabbian Tower Shield and Sea Purse Shield (the Green Chumab's Pride is same skin.) If anyone has these for testing please let me know!
The ones I've found that don't clip are:

I like what Path of Exile does with Leagues. Every 3 months they have a new league with a fresh economy, and then your characters go into the regular game when league ends (Standard).
So something like Prophecies only League or Factions only League would be cool. Or any number of ideas.

I am starting this thread to encourage anyone to respond with new and upcoming games that may be a possible spiritual successor to Guild Wars. Someone is bound to make one some day. Are there any on the radar right now?

Just an update on this. I actually heard from Gaile and she expressed that she didn't realize that the support team no longer supports Guild Wars in this capacity and was going to look into it. This was around 2-3 months ago. I'm not holding my breath lol

Yes I believe that Dwa's account got reinstated, so the tonics are no long banned. It was difficult to upkeep the list; after the mass bans happened in 2015, many of the accounts were reinstated afterwards. I'm glad someone is picking it up.

Perhaps you're right about the GW1 > GW2 trading. But it is a ban-able offense and being just as blatantly disregarded as the botting and gold-selling. Many of the people that try to trade for out of game currency are scammers as well.
Where is a better place to post it?

Just a few short minutes ago as I was watching Netflix, I noticed in my GW window there was some blue/green type text.
It was Gaile Gray.
Or at least, it was an impostor pretending to be Gaile Gray, judging by the foul language.

Yes I just read the thread. I'm glad other people are taking action as well. They told me to report gold sellers under "botting." I also told them they could log into Kamadan at any given moment and see around 8 people either selling gold, GW accounts, or trading for other game currency. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to "investigate" accounts.
Oh and by the way, in my second email to support I asked them if gold-selling was legal now since nothing was being done about it. They said no. Maybe we can approach support with different questions rather than just "ban the gold sellers."
My next tactic was to quote directly from the EULA, but I read in the EULA that "marks" will be given to those accounts and we have no way of accusing them of not giving "marks" to accounts so I don't know if that will help us.
As discussed in this GW Guru thread (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/rmt-spam-t10546857.html), I made a ticket and had an identical response. Not sure Anet bans will ever solve our problems. Definitely feels like we have to get more creative, especially considering the arguments I made there - the gold sellers are making 1k+ a week and are small operations. People are making livings off of those sites. They'll buy more accounts and will care far more than Anet even if we do get some admin support.
