I probably voted 'No' so I could give my two cents.
There are already 31 heroes in the game, and the mercenaries add an extra 8. I think that's enough to have fun with, and I don't see the point in adding more. We could imagine an option to buy extra slots by paying for each one, but I don't feel the need for that.
I only use mercenaries when I start a new character or to build a 4-mesmer team, that's it.
Part of me would definitely buy more slots to have all my characters as heroes, so since that's not an option, my wallet is safe

I just discovered the thread and I have only one thing to say, well done !
It brought back memories from 2013 when we were trying the same kind of stuff with friends. Sadly my first ritualist with LB + SS at lvl5 didn't survive my hack, the new one is still leg cartho but that's it.
