Ask the person to rejoin the guild, then try him leaving again, or you kicking him?

Maybe delete your .dat file and rebuild it using the -image command line argument. Only need to do this once, then replace any other account's .dat file with the new one.
If that doesn't work try adding him to your ignore list but not sure how that interacts. -
Feathers are in high demand, so even 1 stack will be of interest to someone. Never sell to the material trader, players will give you a better rate.
