Easy, Tanzit's Defender! I think the skin equivalent is Shield Of The Dead, but they are pretty expensive/difficult to unlock thru PvP so it is essentially a unique skin

Forest Minotaur's in Kryta (Level 19). There's a whole bunch of them - like 30+ if you run from TOA towards Kessex Peak.

Luxon Assassin's for The Haclyon Job quest are level 20, easy to farm and plentiful (Not warriors but still melee and have a great drop pool)

Corsair Cutthroats at the beginning of Moddok Crevice are level 20 in HM, although from crazily extensive farming I am unsure if HM has a hidden effect on req8's since I have never had one in what must be 10k+ runs.

This quest spawns level 20 Charr in Ascalon however I am unsure of their drop pool: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Then_and_Now,_Here_and_There

Jungle Skales are level 19 and really easy to farm with Obsid Flesh/SF builds.

That's all I got off the top of my head, but to be honest you really are much better off chest running. You can typically get a req8 focus a few times a day if you persist and if your lucky a req8 melee weapon every week or so. I've only had 1 or 2 req8 (Gold) actually drop from a mob since the loot scaling nerf and I farmed most of these spots and more like a mad man in my days. Got leg survivor from the Mino's on two characters when they give like 25exp per mob or something lol. Many 1 off max req8 but never a req8 max.

As far as I know (Since I was a part of them for a while) FBGM have been using it for like 6 years without any bans or viruses, so it's safe (And very handy!) to use!

The game is long dead, don't let the crazy inflation and warped sense of worth that comes with an incredibly low playerbase trick you into thinking there's still hope left to fix it.

To be honest, as much as it probably is a joke, as Max has said, we should just shut up and let the economy eat itself, it has been for a very long time already, and there's not much to be done apart from keep to our own circles for trading/pricing etc. At this point it would be best to forget trading was a thing and just focus on enjoying the best game ever made while it's still online since it might not last forever. It is sad, but there really is not a single thing to be done about it. The market has been finite since loot scaling capped it and the playerbase started decreasing. The effects of that are now more prominent then ever.

Just smile and move on. Not from the game - never - but from the market.

Nice research Red! I've always believed that the Treasures had the possiblity to drop req8 (Theres one that spawns close to Colossal Scimy mobs if I believe) but never ran them enough to confirm it myself.

Red is all knowing and I completely agree with him on all accounts. However when I came back to play for a while me and my brother did Sorrows Furnace extensively for fun (we flooded the market of purples xD) I can say with 100% confidence that we had req8 from the second and third kilroy chest. It was only focus and shields, but still. All in all it means nothing unless it's a req8 crystalline, but req8 can definitely come from those chests. If I recall I "looked" into it at one point and noted no difference in level between keyless chests. Maybe it's because of their drop tables or mob relation.

Q8 can drop from all keyless chests in Sorrows Furnace.

If I remember the cut off for req8 is 17-23 And not 21, since 24 is where you get the climb in stat requirements as per the nerf that ruined drops forever.

I've always believed that HM chests in starter areas drop req8 but from extensive testing I believe that there is some other factor stopping this from happening, and would say with certantity it's not possible.

Also the keyless chests in the elite areas share the same drop pool and requirements as sorrows, so I would say yes to them and I'm pretty sure I've seen a few req8 from them before. You can see this too just from the fact you very often can get non max items from them, even though it's an elite area (never seen a purple 15ar shadow shield right?).

I agree with this, however I would say that the Bladed's, Echovalds etc are the more common skins with these mods. A Skeleton shield with these mods is incredibly rare since its a core skin that dropped in Factions and would of only been possible to drop in the City zone (afaik), amongst all the other possible drops and possible mods. The "Rarer" skins are so heavily botted that I would not value them above this one, and whatever price would be put onto them I would flip for this shield.

I dont dabble in the demon's market because as Max said its unpredictable, but mod/drop rate wise this shield should be waaaaaaaay above Bladed etc, and should be valued as such. Sale is another matter however.

Any core skin with these mods - SoTW, Crude Shield etc - I would put above any of the faction's "rare" skins, but only for these mods.

Ive never seen a non gold Darkwing. Ever. I am very hesitant to agree they exist and if they do it would 110% of come from the preview events like the inscr Purple Crystallines.

As for farming req8 Ikki is right in that farming levels 17 - 21 is your best bet, however the cap does go as high as 23, but youll be hitting the req ceiling quite a bit (Drops will role higher). Chest running is always your best bet for OS req8's, HM is your best bet for blue/purple req8 inscr, and Kournan chests and level 20-21 enemies in NF and EoTN are best for gold Inscr req8 I tried out farming Chromatic Drakes for Darkwings and that worked pretty well outside Central Transfer Chamber, but in NM the drop rate is just stupid low.

Kournen Chests drop so many req8 its crazy, get a few every 100 chests or so. Of course they are mainly focuses but heck its still req8!
