The staff he holds in the picture is a walking stick with a snake as head. Also inside the walking stick is his wand. I also got the forgotten sceptet I can switch to for the Set / switching effect

I like serpentine scepter also for him but sadly it's double headed. But can be dyed black 🖤 and the combination of Snakes, Slitherin and the Malfois is just iconic.

The cane still has a undeniable mesmerizing and castery look

Inscribed - - > salvage the mods and merch. The 20/20 only referes mostly to OS versions where u can't change the inherent mod. Even in old school I would have merched it. In inscr the inscr mod at least is worth a couple A of ectos

exactly this 2 thoughts also flashed thru my head. but the Vermine + Paperlantern screen from Unholy just crushes all my (Paper)-Braincells with a big smash

okay i see other people had similar thoughts then me and tried to see a pattern that seems not to be there. People love order and Paperlanterns are just like the universe: beautifil, mindblowing and filled with a lot of (yet?!) not understandable things

they are unarguably rare. i mean on normal play dropping a bladed shield or the (to me) more rare iridescent aegis or diamond aegis also seems nearly impossible. But once u know where they drop ( warriors, cantha, and humans having a good drop rate of shields) u can start to increase the chances ( WoC farm u can technicaly farm them, but they still rare ).

the same things i tried to maybe improve the chances of paperlanterns, even when after the improvements the chances still are low, no doubt about that.

The for me very interessting part is that CHESTS with NO elementalist foes at all are able to drop these. that would erase all previous "knowledge" or ideas on dropping patterns. So are they dropping true Random all over the cantha ?

as i see atm the Fire skill theory is busted and the elementalist theory also.

EDIT: Do you still know what the Chests with no ele foes where related to ? like was it Afflicted or jadebrotherhood ot something ? Unholy it melts my head

Q8 white max items depending on skin can go for a couple of ectos to certain collectors.

like a q8 Eternal shield was on a giveaway here once, also was bought for 5e on an auction so from 0-5e for that one as far as i have seen.

i also had a small collection on q8 white max items (mostly self drops) but also bought some here and there. But due to storage problems i sold of my q8 max white collection but its in good hands i know

but then its clear that ALL elementalist foes can drop it. !!!

okay so the whole Fire elementalist experiance may needs to be overthought

from my gaming experience it at least worked. So if Dragon moss (water eles) Drop the paperlantern then the Fire ele only drop it theorie is busted and just a weird drop exp i got

so far i came to the conclusion that this is just partially true. Since Shrine Anjeka Farm aka Dragon Moss farm never dropped a paperlantern. these use no FIRE skills

so all mobs that dropped Paper Lanterns for me had 2 things in common. 1. Elementalist 2. Fire skills on the bar

either this foes or chests related to that foes dropped paperlanterns to me/or friends i chested with.

SIDE NOTE: I farmed hours and thousands of items on WoC. Dropped Jugs and Paperfans but no Paperlanterns. There is a Fire-Version of the Ministry Mage BUT on WoC farm only the Earth and Air version accures.

NOTE: wiki is wrong on saying the leviathan chest dropped a paperlantern. it is 99.99999% a Saltspray chest that guy ment. like leviathans don't even come as elemenatalist and that would be 4th wall breaking that wars, rangers and mesmer now also could drop it so the easiest and most likely true assumption is : that statement of "leviathan dropped paperlantern" is just wrong.

So i would really like to have more Opinions/experiences with that topic. so feel free to add urs in the comments

THE REAL QUESTION NOW IS: where is a Farmable or good chestrunable area with a lot of fire elementalists. ?

lately a blue SWS was sold here. This one should be the same price range. (maybe some one can find the auction because i am not 100% sure what sale price was at the end. but wasnt really far away from a gold version afaik)

This would be an auction piece with no exact price tag. Only a sale can show its full potential but u see an area where it should be.

Yeah you are a 100% right that on demon mod it would be worth more.

It's still q9 and max mods. Wich are not the worst. ( ogre could have been worse :P)

I bought similar Shields here on the forum but with x00gs value from 100-200e ( I often end up paying a little more for the X00g.)

Usually around 10e is what I see them going for. (mods not included)

20/20 is max urs is 20/19

so 20% HCT in the inherent mod urs sadly only has 19%. for play it doesnt matter to much but value wise and for collectors thats a big deal. like 90-99% value burn sadly

same with req10 staffs instead of req 9 staffs. also had a q10 20/20 dom outcast staff and made also the sad exp that its also like a 80% value burn to have it in not req 9

It's just how the Human mind works or Murphys law or how u wanna call it.

A jelly toast allways lands on the jelly side.

Because only when u have clean up the mess and make a new one u save it in your brain. So having a key and opening the chests feels just normal and is not worthy of beeing saved/stored in your brain

BUT

standing in front of a juicy Chest that may contain a OS Treasure, that u now can't find out or get because u don't have keys. That's soen thing worth to store in your brain.

So u remember every chest u didn't get. But u won't remember every chest u got.

The only thing why your brain does this is to hurt you with that bad emotions until u finally have at least 1 stack of lockpicks on every of your chars so u will never have to stand in front of a chest and not beeing able to open it. And once ur got that lockpicks on all chars and are able to open all chest your brain just improved you, your drops and saves u from bad emotions in the future. Science Baby. Stonks. Mr. Clean out

A paper fan with a weird but imo better mod comb struggelt to get any interesst

(q9 15-1 1/20 curses) PC on that baby was around 100e due to reasons that focuses that are not either 20/20 or 20/10 struggle to reach high values. A 10/10 jug is atm on its way to 50e and I would say rather slow if not say stagnating.

Both from me mentioned examples are way rarer skins and better mod combs.

To sum it up. Its a drop u don't get every day. So it's a a good feel. But overall there is little to no market interest in these, neither a use or big collector scene. So for me it's a take what u can get for it item. Don't merch that's to sad 100% agree with blind on that but me personally I would be happy with a (small) Handfull of globs like 5e-10e+ allrdy feels like a win in my eyes.
