So, what would interesting now would be trying different path than the one you are taking (maybe pushing to the burning forest and ToS?)
Might try this out, doing map would be cool aswell, and of course some stats to add (see if different drop rate).
And to answer your question, heroes do not influence drop rate from chests with key.
Does anyone knows what the average chests in FoW ? is it stuck at 5 like other area, or with it's size, population and elite area is there more ?

That Easy Screen OCR looks like a nice tool for recording drop tables for different enemies: e.g. copy all your chat while farming and filter the words preceding and following the text "drops a". But for recording item stats, I don't see how manually copying text for each item is faster than typing it directly into your preferred excel format?
It's called fastidious and lazyness !
I much rather copy/pasting 40 items (and do one or 2 adjustments by hand) than having to type down everything (it should avoid any typo aswell) and still believe I would be faster to ctrl+c/ctrl+v
So far, I just have to "OCR" my screen, copy/past the result and add a gold/purple color, which is fine for me.
Praise, I still have your Ice caves of sorrow datas, tried to work a bit on it, but got discouraged very fast

I personally don't do Raisu runs for shields.
I recently must have open over 500 chests there, I can count the shields I dropped on one hand (question of luck I guess, unless the extra skins there (forbidden, and especially oni take over the shields drop rate?)
And the run is longer than others

Well thanks for the terminology, it helped me finding what I wanted, a tried a few but the one who suits me the best (and has the best character recognition).

Having no knowledge about coding, I prefer stay away of bots (program, source code etc...)
I agree with you taking a screenshot isn't long, however I will need to manage my screenshot folder everytime.
I am looking at some "image analysis" (never thought to this term before) app on google right now, might find something !

As you said, image analysis. However taking a screenshot of every single drop is almost as fastidious as recording the stats manually.
I was secretelly hoping finding something where I could just drag my mouse on an item, press a touch and my keyboard and voila !

It's a faction core skin, meaning that you have a small chance to drop it anywhere in faction.
However, WoC farm seems the most reliable.
You could also farm the minister Cho mission or even some naga/sensali (shing jea island in hm)
I did quite a few chestrun run at Waijjun, shields drop rate is very low.
As for nahpui, you have more chance to drop a celestial in HM (celestial drop rate in nm is way lower)

To have a chance of q8 in chest, the value of the key shouldn't be higher than 450g

TongTong that's a really interesting one, I didn't expect gold prenerf value to be below current blue minimum (maybe I am wrong about current blue?) But damn, that value is absolutely retarded, why would anyone keep such a shield when there is +30hp unconditional available
